6 | Vision

Chapter Six - Vision

Taeyong sat on the floor and crossed his legs as he was told. Jaehyun stood before him, arms folded across his chest. This was a test which all new warlocks have to take.

"Warlocks have anywhere from one to five different powers, sometimes they have more" The blond haired male explains.
"This is a test which will tell us what abilities you have."

Taeyong gulps as he loosely rests his hands on his knees. He has no idea what to expect for this test.

He has no knowledge of any other powers that he may have. He is worried for what Jaehyun's respond will be.

"Tsk" Jaehyun suddenly sighs heavily as he kicks Taeyong's knee with his foot. "That's a stupid thing to worry about."

The older is confused at first but quickly remembers the younger's mind reading ability.

Jaehyun chuckles as takes a few steps backwards. He extends one hand, holding up two fingers which are closed together.

A light shines out from between them, blinding Taeyong. The older squints his eyes, raising a hand to block the light from his eyes.

He feels his hand being forced back to his side by some kind of force which can't be seen.

"It won't work if you interfere" Jaehyun states, his tone is slightly annoyed.

Taeyong suddenly yells out as his head snaps backwards. His hands open, palms raised to the ceiling as he feels the light from Jaehyun's hand tearing through his body.

"Interesting" The blond haired male mutters as he lowers his hand. The light disappears.

Taeyong falls onto his back, extending his legs so he is lying in a comfortable position. He takes deep breaths as he tries to slow his heart rate.

After several moments he moves into a seated position once more. Jaehyun has moved to be seated before him.

"You have two abilities. Yet you can't access the second one as of now. Something is still holding it back" the younger explains.

"How do I access it?" Taeyong questions.

"I'm not sure. It will just become accessible once it's ready I guess." Jaehyun begins to tap his fingers on the floor, as though he were waiting for the older to say something.

Taeyong has many questions he wants to ask, to understand this place yet he doesn't want to ask them all out of the blue like this.

The younger smiles softly as he hears these thoughts. He decides not to push for the older to ask the so called questions. He doesn't want to take advantage of his ability.

"Are we going to do any exercises which will help me with my power?" Taeyong asks, choosing to save his questions for another time.

Jaehyun just nods.

The door to the room opens and Jungwoo suddenly strides in, interrupting the pair. He looks worried.

The blond haired male rises to his feet almost immediately.
"What is it?"

"Doyoung has sensed Yuta using his powers in the city" Jungwoo speaks, his voice hurried.

Taeyong stands and moves to stand by Jaehyun's side. The younger looks at him briefly before looking back the blue haired male.

"Let's not waste anymore time, let's go to him" Jaehyun clasps his hands together and goes to leave but stops his tracks as he realises his surroundings have changed.
