8 | Lust

Chapter Eight - Lust

"They'll be here" Yuta speaks with great confidence as he takes a seat on the couch beside Sicheng. The younger leans into the older's side subtly enough that no one notices.

"How can you be so sure?" Haechan sounds annoyed as he paces before his leader. He has doubts with this new plan.

They have never attempted anything like it and Jaehyun isn't exactly...Gullible.

"Because the all mighty Jaehyun is growing feelings towards that boy." The dark haired explains. "He's in a state of mind where his powers are getting weaker as his heart is conflicted. You saw the same vision I saw, Taeyong killed Jae when they were about to initiate in—"

"Too much info" Haechan cringes as he interrupts.

The door creaks as it is slowly opened. All heads turn to look at the figure who hovers in the doorway.

"What are you going to do with Taeyong?" The red haired person speaks. Their hair is similar to Haechan's yet the red is much more vibrant.

Yuta smirks as he stands, slowly walking over to the intruder.

"Taeyong possesses something much stronger then any of us seen. I think it would be safe to say that his inner demons are real. We are dealing with dark magic which is the most powerful kind."

The dark haired male turns to face the others in the room, speaking as though he were providing a speech to the public.

"I want to figure out the source of this power and see if it can be controlled without Taeyong losing his mind. Having him in our quarters...Well we can't really call it that can we?"

Haechan shakes his head slowly. "It's more of an institution."

"Having him in our institution will allow for us to run certain experiments to investigate this power. We will learn about it and perhaps even take it away."

Haechan looks to Sicheng and they both share glances filled with slight fear.

"What are you saying?" The red haired male by the door mutters.

Yuta faces the male with a sickening smile on his face.

"With the assistance of our intel on the inside, Taeil, we shall capture Taeyong. Jaehyun and the others just need to think that we will help him. In reality, we are going to experiment on him until he is no longer of use. Then we will kill him."

Doyoung scowls as he sits at the head of the table. Jaehyun pokes at his food with his fork while Jungwoo just eats quickly.

It's been several hours since they left Taeyong at his old apartment. The three of them haven't spoken about what they are going to do.

Jaehyun silenced them both after telling them that they were to visit Yuta.

This option infuriates Doyoung. He doesn't understand why Jaehyun is falling for the others word's so easily.

Yuta killed Taeil. Why would he suddenly want to help someone who is on his brother's side? It makes no sense.

The raven haired male even brought up that Jaehyun is blinded by his lust for the newcomer but he soon found himself without a tongue.

It wasn't literally ripped out, just erased with magic. It'll come back when the blond haired feels as though the time is right.

"Where's Taeil?" Jungwoo asks softly, the sound of his voice shatters the silence which had been cocooning them.

"I'm not sure, he wasn't here when we got back" Jaehyun answers sharply.

Jungwoo looks to Doyoung who just shrugs, not being able to voice a response at this point in time.

The door to the dining room swings open and everyone turns to see Taeil walking through the doors. The red haired male walks over to Doyoung and pecks his boyfriend on the lips.

"Sorry, I needed some air" He apologises as he take a seat where his food has been waiting for 10 minutes.

"Hang on" Jaehyun calms out as he flicks his hand in the direction of the older's food. A single flame leaves his fingers and engulfs the food for a mere second before distinguishing itself once more.

"Your food was cold, I reheated it for you."

"We could've used the microwave" Jungwoo mutters beneath his breath. He choked on his next mouthful as Jaehyun looks at him.

Just as the blue haired male goes to slip out of consciousness, the blond haired stops his magic.

Taeil can be heard yelling out suddenly, causing Jungwoo and Jaehyun to stop what their doing. They turn to see the red haired is looking at his boyfriend in pure horror.

"His tongue is missing!" He exclaims.

"Oh I forgot" Jaehyun speaks ever so casually as he waves his hand over Doyoung's face.

The dark haired male pokes out his tongue as soon as it reappears, making sure it's still in one piece.

"I think Mr Jae is on his man period today" is the first thing he says once getting the ability to speak back.

"I'm only acting like this because you two don't seem to keen to help Taeyong" Jaehyun speaks harshly.

"I'm fine if we help him there just has to be a way other then seeing Yuta. We can't trust him" Jungwoo sounds bitter.

"Taeyong is new and we hardly know him. Just because you are falling in love with him doesn't mean we should all be willing to take him to someone who killed the man that I loved in hopes that he will be fixed" Doyoung argues.

"Don't speak of him as though he were some kind of broken object. Taeyong is a person. Don't forget that he was the one who brought Taeil back" Jaehyun slams his fist on the table.

Doyoung stands from his seat at the table.

"Fine, take him to Yuta. But don't expect me to be waiting with open arms when Yuta takes him away from you too."

Taeil goes to grab his boyfriend's hand but narrowly misses as Doyoung storms out of the room, slamming the door behind him.

Jaehyun turns to look at Jungwoo as though he was expecting for the blue haired male to crack it as well.

"You are our leader at the end of the day. If you think this is the right decision then I will stay by your side throughout it."

The blond haired nods slowly as he places his fork onto the plate, he stands from his seat.

"I'm going to talk to Doyoung."

"Jaehyun" Jungwoo falls his name just as he is about to leave the room, bringing him to a stop.

"Let's try to figure out something else first yeah?"

Jaehyun just nods and leaves the room.

A/N - the next few chapters are gonna be great...well at least for me
