ZAYN:  “Alright, what’aya got?” you ask, taking Zayn’s list out of his hands.  You scan it briefly, giving small approving nods as you go.  “I like Colbie for a girl.  Colbie Malik has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?”  He nods in agreement, then asks, “What kinds of names did you come up with?”  You show him your list, and he scowls at each name.  “What?” you ask, a bit offended.  “They’re a bit generic, don’t you think?  Sarah?  Nicholas?”  “Fine, we’ll pick from your list then,” you grumble.  “Cheer up, this is supposed to be fun.  No moody pregnancy nonsense,” Zayn says, poking his tongue out between his teeth and raising his eyebrows, pulling a goofy face at you.  “Well, I did kind of like Lane too,” you admit.  “Yeah?  That was high on my list too,” he tells you with a smile.  “So is that it?  Did we just pick our baby’s name?  Colbie if it’s a girl, Lane if it’s a boy?” he asks you hopefully.  “I think we just did,” you grin, placing your hands on your ever-rounding belly.

NIALL:  “So, I’ve been thinking of some baby names,” Niall says out of the blue, catching you offguard.  “You have?  But we haven’t even really talked much about it yet.”  “I know, but I was having a hard time falling asleep last night and that’s just where my mind wandered off to.”  You giggle.  “Well, ok then.  What did you come up with?”  “Well, I kinda liked Cole for a boy and Kelsey for a girl.”  “I love those names…” you sigh out.  “You do?” Niall questions, a little shocked that you’d approved so quickly.  You nod your head.  “Yeah, I really do.  That’s it then, we have our baby names picked out!”  “Don’t you want to think about it for a while too?  You might come up with something better.”  You wave your hand around as though to dismiss his thought.  “In all honesty I haven’t stopped throwing names around since the day I found out I was pregnant and I haven’t come up with anything nearly as perfect as Cole or Kelsey.”  Niall grins and plants a kiss on your forehead before dropping down to kiss your swollen belly.

LIAM: “What’s this you’ve got here?” you ask Liam as you unfold the piece of paper that you find sitting on the kitchen counter.  “Oh that’s just some baby names I was thinking of,” he tells you.  You read through the list, making little comments here and there about some of the names.  “I kind of like Ryan for a boy.”  “What about for a girl?  Any on there that stick out to you?”  You scrunch up your nose.  “Not really.  But what do you think of Makenzie?”  “Makenzie…” Liam tries out, “I really like that!”  “So it’s either a little Ryan or a little Makenzie?”  “Mhmm, indeed it is,” Liam tells you, grinning as he pats his lap for you to come sit down.  You oblige and Liam wraps his arms around you, caressing your tummy.

LOUIS:  “Lou, we are not naming our baby Harry,” you tell him, taking the card out of the pile and putting it aside on the table.  You continue going through the pile of cards in your hands as Louis laughs out, “It was worth a try.”  After finishing going through the names, you dump them all in the bowl sitting in the middle of the table next to the bowl already full of the girl name choices.  Louis dives his hand into the girl bowl.  “And the winner is… Millie.”  “Nooo…I don’t like that one,” you whine.  “Then why was it in the bowl?”  “I dunno.  Pick again.”  Louis reaches in once more.  “And the real winner is… Lea.”  You smile approvingly as Louis reaches into the boy bowl.  “And if it’s a boy… Christopher.”  “Lea or Christopher,” you muse.  The baby flutters and your face lights up.  “I think the baby likes those names,” you say and Louis places his hand to your belly, gazing at you lovingly.

HARRY: “Here you go, my input to the baby naming thing,” Harry tells you handing you a piece of paper.  You scan the list.  “Lacy sounds like a stripper name…so does Misty…why are you trying to turn our unborn child into a stripper?” you ask, balling up his list and chucking it at him.  Harry laughs, “They seemed like perfectly acceptable name choices to me.”  “Well you were wrong,” you joke, reaching a hand up to muss with his hair.  “Would you like to hear some real suggestions?”  “Shoot,” Harry tells you, pulling you towards the couch so the two of you can sit.  “I kinda like Ellie for a girl or Carson for a boy.”  Harry nods thoughtfully.  “I like those.  I think either one of those would be perfect.”  “Yeah?  So we have names picked out?” you ask eagerly.  Harry nods and smiles.  ”We have names picked out, baby,” he confirms, leaning in to give you a kiss.
