CHAPTER 3

*Awkward silence...*

Kiara was a bit taken aback and looked at Namjoon as a big question mark. "Whaat? Broo? Do you know each other?"

Namjoon made first move and grabbed the cashier from his shirt.

"Taehyung, you know perfectly well ehh... You know what I am talking about." Namjoon made an exact eye contact trying to message something important to Taehyung.

Taehyung looked Namjoon with a confused expression.

Namjoon bend over the counter and whispered "You know who she is right? I have showed a picture of her to you, haven't I?"

Taehyung got the hint and took it. "Aaah, yeah" he winked to Namjoon without Kiara seeing that.

Namjoon let go of him relieved.

"So... You're friends huh?" Kiara asked again.

Namjoon scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "Yea, this is Taehyung. We both play football in BTS FC and we hang out together at school."

Kiaras eyes widened. "Oh, why weren't you playing today then?"

"Look, I hurt my wrist few days ago. So Jungkooks best friend Yugyeom from GGOT7 had to fill in for me." Taehyung said looking down to his wrist a bit disappointed.

"I'm sorry about your wrist. Are the burgers ready yet?" Kiara said.

"Oh yeah here they are." Taehyung started handing all the five cheeseburgers to Kiara with a playful smirk.

Kiara paid for the burgers and was kinda regretting buying so many of them. So she decided to give Namjoon two of those burgers.

"I kinda exaggerated when I bought so many." Kiara said while handing the two burgers to Namjoon.

Namjoon gladly took the burgers and grinned to Kiara.

They were starting to leave when suddenly they heard Taehyung yelling at them.

"Hey wait for me! My shift just ended so let's head out together."

Namjoon was facepalming while cursing under his breath: "Oh for fucks sake..."

"Did you say something?" Kiara asked Namjoon when Taehyung was getting his stuff together.

Namjoon answered with very high tone: "Nothing!"

The whole gang headed out of McDonalds. Kiara walked few steps ahead of the boys. Taehyung was asking these basic questions like "How are you doing?" or so. Namjoon tried again to message Taehyung to fuck off and leave the two of them alone. It seemed like Namjoon had something on his mind.

Kiara had given one of the cheeseburgers to Taehyung and now he was eating it with feeling of over the moon.

Everyone just ate in silence until one of Namjoons and Taehyungs friends showed up. Those three made this brohug thing and the new guy introduced himself as Jin.

Namjoon whispered Jin to get Taehyung with him because he wanted to discuss with Kiara.

Jin did as Namjoon asked and said: "Hey Taehyung. I'm going to a club. Would you like to join me?" Jin knew that Taehyung couldn't resist the club atmosphere and of course the lady company.

Taehyungs eyes lit up. And he answered fast and excited.

"I cannot say no to that kind of offer. Let's get drunk. Wohoo!"

Kiara giggled while watching Taehyung getting excited about these adult things and still he looked like a little child. His cheeks were full of burger and because of that it was hard to understand what he was saying. Even so Jin and Taehyung left clubbing and now it was just Kiara and Namjoon.

They started walking again and finished the burgers.

"They seem like nice guys." Kiara said happily and Namjoon just smiled shortly because he was going through his own emotions.

The thing is that Namjoon has a crush on Kiara. It's so clishé but Namjoon doesn't want to hurt Kiaras feelings or break their friendship so he has a hard time to tell Kiara about his feelings. He has been waiting the right time to do that. 

Now or never.
