I awoke in a small area, tied to something. The dim light in the room was caused by a crack in the wall, letting in moonlight. I soon realized that I was attached to a support beam with nothing more than rope. 'huh, just rope then? This is to easy' i then attempted to free myself, but there was no release. 'what the hell? I should be able to break this!' I tugged on it again, but could not break the rope's hold on me.

Remembering the pain in my side, I looked down only to see black blood staining my cotton shirt. 'wolves bane. No wonder I couldn't use my strength.' I dwelled on becoming my wolf-self, but decided against it. Who ever did this was still here, and they wanted me dead. Letting out a growl of discomfort, my eyes began to glow, an orange color, then yellow. 'no. I'm not part of Scott's pack. I am my own pack!' I roared, allowing my eyes to flash red, them orange again. 'dammit.'

"You know I could use some peace and quiet while I try to untie myself." A girls voice called out

"What the- who's there?" I called back.

"You already know me, and I'm not worth your time" her voice was muffled by her struggle to untie herself.

"How do I know you? what's going on here?"

"My name is Charlie, ring a bell? and it was an assassin that brought us here, I'm assuming they want to kill us in a group, maybe it's more money?" She replied

"Assassin? More money? What are you talking about? And yeah, that does ring a bell. how do I know you?"

"Have Scott explain it, I don't feel like reciting it. And my name wrings a bell because you know it."

I released a small growl, "I'm not going to talk to Scott. Just tell me how I know yo-" my sentence ended early as a heard someone screech in pain.

"Thomas? THOMAS!" I thrashed in the rope, hardly loosening them. He let out a small whimper.

"Oh God Thomas; I'll get you out of here, I promise."

"He isn't who you should be worried about." A strange voice sounded from the shadows.

Silence filled the room and a cold shiver inched it's way over my spine. "Who are you?" There was no reply. "Show yourself, dammit!" I growled, though fear ran through me.

"Don't be like that, you might as well attempt to enjoy your last few minutes." the man stepped out of the shadows, I did not recognize him. But in the corner of my left eye, I saw Charlie's eyes widen with fear.

Anger filled throughout me as he untied Thomas, then cuffed him. "I'll see you three in a few minutes," the man said is he dragged Thomas off.

"Three? what three? Charlie, it's just us isn't it?" I whispered to my companion.

"No, there's another kid in here He's been quiet for a while though, I hope he's okay." she replied

"That guy probably knocked him out," I whispered to her. I them called to the boy, "hey, you okay over there?"

No reply.

"Charlie, what the hell is that guy going to do to Thomas?" I demanded, forgetting the boy.

"To be honest, I have no idea."

I growled again, and pulled on the rope. A quiet snap, I pricked my ears. 'It's working!' With a spark of hope, I pulled aging, more small snaps. A final pull and the rope broke free.

I stood up and ran to Charlie, and began untying her. I could finally see her face, and I did recognize her. She had lightly tanned skin, and light auburn hair, pulled back in a bun. As her arms pulled free, Charlie stood up and brushed her arms off. "those ropes seriously hurt. you should probably go get that kid," she said as she looked toward the boy.

I nodded and jogged toward him. he was unconscious, but hardly alive. "he's okay, kinda" I called to Charlie. I untied him as I studied his face, I knew him too. "charlie, could you get him out of here so I can find Thomas?" There was no reply, "charlie?" I said turning around. Charlie was gone.
