"hey," zakia leaned over, shoving zion by his shoulder. it was like four a.m and her mom had been on her way to come and pick her up. "zion," she hissed, flicking his forhead.
"what the f-"
"walk me out," she said, rolling out of bed, careful not to step on a sleeping austin and brandon.
she tipped toed over to the other bed, eyeing a sleeping edwin, but placing a kiss to nick's cheek who was sleeping like a baby.
after grabbing her stuff, her and zion walked out to the lobby.
"i'm sorry again," zion ruffled his dreads. he engulfed zakia into a hug, rocking side to side. her yellow hair was in a puffy, curly bun.
"it's okay," she sighed, returning the hug. her fingers slipped under his jacket, rubbing the bare skin in his back.
"but aye, ima still facetime you and shit,"
she laughed, "bet," she pulled away to check her phone, seeing a text from her mother letting her know she was five minutes away.
"my momma is comin' up," she tossed her bag over her shoulder, "ima miss you my sweet dear," she gave him through the doors.
"ima miss yo' small ass too,"
"shut up,"
zion smirked.
"why are you looking at me like that?"
"like what?"
"like that,"
zion laughed, grabbing her by her chin and lifting her lips up to meet his. it was short and simple.
a honk caused them to pull away.
