Author's Rant
A wise woman once told me: We are history. Everything that happens in our lives is history. The smallest decisions could have a large effect on our life. People may look back and call our decisions wrong, but that does not change the fact that they are, after all, our decisions.
A question that often ebbs at the edge of my senses, however, is: Who has the right to say which lives are important? We look throughout history, we see famous people such as King Tut, or Albert Einstein, but what was it that got them into the history text books? People often judge your life's value based on what you accomplish, but we are not what we accomplish, but rather, what we accomplish makes us who we are.
How one person lives their life in comparison to another does not void the importance of either lives. We are all different, but we all matter. Whether you are important to industry, coworkers, family, friends, or even yourself, your story, your history, has an effect on society.
A simple secret of life: People change people. Your life matters, that is why you are here. It's not to wander aimlessly, hoping to do something right. Find your passion and chase it to the depths of time.
