Elder Tree

As Fionna and the rest of the party were walking through the haunted forest they hear loud crunching of leaves heading their way. "Do you hear that?" asked Cake. "Yeah, what is that?" asked Fionna. "I don't know but ever it is, it's coming our way." said Flame Prince.

"What are we going to do?!" yelled Gumball frantically. "Everyone get behind me!" yelled Fionna. Everyone got behind Fionna. She positioned herself in an attack stance with her sword ready.

"Here it comes!" said Cake. The crunching got louder and closer. "It is going to come from the brush!" yelled Gumball as he retreated behind Flame Prince. "What a coward." said Flame Prince.

The brush started to rustle and then it appeared out of the brush. "What the?" said Fionna. A cute little bunny appeared before Fionna. "Awh, a bunny." said Gumball happily.

"So much for excitement." mumbled Flame Prince. Prince Gumball walks over to the white, fluffy bunny. Why in the world would such an innocent animal be in such a place Fionna wondered. Unless....

"Wait! Gumball!" Before Fionna could warn him, Gumball leaned over to pet the gentle creature. The bunny starts to melt away while a giant demon rabbit takes it place.

"Wha.." said Gumball as the demon rabbit lunges at him. "Gumball!" Fionna runs towards him with her sword raised. Before she could get to him, the demon rabbit opens its mouth and engulfs Gumball and retreats.

"No!" screamed Fionna. She runs after the demon rabbit but Cake wraps her arms around Fionna. "No baby girl! It's to late!" says Cake. Fionna collapses to the ground and sobs.

"Why...just...why?" Fionna mumbles. Flame Prince walks over to Fionna. "Fi..it's going to be okay. We will get Gumwad back. I promise." said Flame Prince.

Flame Prince grabs Fionna's face and pulls it towards his. He looks into her eyes. "I promise." he says. He wipes away her tears. She slightly smiles and hugs him passionately.

"Thank you." she whispered in his ear. They let go of each other and stood up. Sniffling Fionna says, "Okay if I was a demon rabbit where would I go?" "Well rabbits live in holes." said Cake.

"Hey Fi, is there a hole anywhere on that map?" says Flame Prince. Fionna takes the map out of her bag and scans it. "Yeah there is actually. Its right next to the elder tree." "The rabbit must guard the elder tree!" exclaimed Cake.

"It shouldn't be that far." said Fionna. "Okay guys, we should really be careful and on guard from now on." said Flame Prince. "Yeah, we don't need someone else eaten by that beast." Fionna says. "Mmhm." agreed Cake.

Shortly after they arrived at elder tree, they spotted the rabbit hole. It was a big tunnel that seemed like it would go on forever. "We are never going to find Gumball!" yelled Fionna.
