Chapter 19

Arnav was driving Khushi to her office Raichand Designs. Arushi was sitting on her hello kitty child seat while Arnav and Khushi were sitting at the front holding hands.

Khushis phone rang. It was Sana calling.

Khushi:Hi Sana. How are you ?
Sana: I'm fine. When will you drop Arushi her?
Khushi: Oh god. I totally forgot to tell you, actually Arushi will come with us today so no worries.
Sana: Its okay. I called to invite you and Arnav for dinner today.
Khushi: Yeah sure why not I think we will be there at seven pm.
Sana: Okay Khush bye.
Khushi: see you..
Call ends

Arnav: What did she say? All okay?
Khushi(keeping her phone away): Yeah all okay. She invited us for dinner tonight. You will be there right?
Arnav: Oh okay.. I think I will manage to be on time.
Arushi(excited): Papa will we go to Karan uncle today? I hope nanny isn't there. I hate nanny.
Khushi and Arnav chuckled.
Khushi: Baby why do you hate her. She is so sweet. It's bad manners baby.
Arushi(pouting): Okay solly.

All of sudden Khushi  started to feel like throwing up. She didn't say anything to Arnav as she didn't  want to worry him without knowing anything.  But she couldn't control herself anymore.
Khushi(screaming and holding her mouth): Arnav! Stop the car! At the side please.
Arnav(concerned): Hey! Are you fine babe? What happened?
Before he could continue Khushi got off the car and stood there inhaling  fresh air.  Arnav also got off and went towards her.
Arnav (holding her worried): Are you fine? You are sick. Come on we are going to the hospital. You aren't fine I can see that. Don't even start to lie.
Khushi(shaking her head):  I'm fine don't worry. I will call the doctor and ask for an appointment.  But please no hospital Arnav. I hate hospitals and you know that.....please.
Arnav shook his head hugging her.
Arnav(kissing her hairs): I have one condition, no office for you  today. Okay? I will drive you home now. I'm worried about you baby. Come on we are going home.
Khushi nodded and Arnav helped Khushi into the car.  Arnav drove back home.

Raichand Mansion:

Khushi was laying in her bed, trying to convince Arnav.

Khushi: Arnav you should go to office please. For me. I'm fine can't you see that. Arushi wants to go and see your office please go for her.
Arnav(holding her hands): Khushi nothing is more important for me than your health. I think Arushi will understand. She is also worried, she'll understand.
Khushi gave up and nodded.
She went into the washroom and then something struck her.
Khushi(thought):  Today is the 25th of November and I had my last period on 1st October.  Why didn't I get my period?  OMG I'm pregnant...no I'm not..I can't. What if I am ?

It slowly started to make sense, realizing she might be pregnant, Khushi sat next to the sink and her eyes teared up, remembering their talk a few months ago.

Two months ago :

After Khushi forgave Arnav she had a condition. Khushi just wasn't ready to face the Raizada or Gupta family,  which why she had to talk to Arnav, before moving on.
Khushi (holding his hands): Arnav I want you to promise me something.
Arnav nodded.
Khushi: You have to promise me that you will never force me to face your family. I'm sorry but I just can't forget it.  How they treated me..that part of our past is something I could never forget. I'm not ready. If you really want to move on and start a new chapter in our life..with us, our daughter who is the most pure and innocent soul...she needs you the most right now.  I'm not asking you to leave your family behind, you can always meet them, call them and also take Aru with you, I have no problem with it as long as I'm not getting in touch with them.
Arnav (wiping her tears): Baby I understand. Now you listen to me...you were always a part of my life...you are my everything. My heartbeat, the reason why I'm breathing, the reason behind every smile of mine. Now you have gifted me our wonder, Aru...Nothing matters to me more than you and our baby. What makes you happy, makes me even more happier.
He kissed her cheek.
