You are currently alone at the university garden waiting for your friends since they had important meetings to attend to. You actually didn't enjoyed being alone, but you had no choice since Jaemin and your other friends had been busy and you didn't wanna bother them.

You sat at one of the benches and enjoyed the view. Good thing the weather wasn't that bad! The beautiful trees swayed gracefully, and the mild scent of flowers were really relaxing.

You really loved flowers. You're not a picky one, but you just loved sunflowers or any purple colored ones better.

You were so mesmerized of different orchards planted when a voice behind you called out your name.

"Y/n!" He said while panting.

You smiled and went directly to where he stood.

"Hi, Nana! But, why on earth are you here? You were having a meeting right?" you said in a confused tone.

"And why are you sweating so much?" You added while offering your handkerchief to him.

"Uhm y-yeah we were. But Dani said you were waiting alone so i excused myself from the meeting" He said, taking the cloth.

You were really touched by what he said cause he really knew you that much.

You tried to hide your smile and faced the ground.

You didn't mind the butterflies in your stomach and just showed him the flowers you were actually observing earlier.

You held his shirt and dragged him to where pots of flowers were in.

"Jaemin, look at these! They're so cute~ they're purple and i love 'em!!" you squealed when you saw a pot of purple flowers.

He smiled sweetly and looked at your 'oh-so-happy' face.

You guys decided to leave and go home since it was getting dark.

"I'll walk you home." He initiated.

"You don't have to. Besides my house is just a few blocks away!" You said while pushing him lightly.

"I won't take no as an answer, y/n." He said and quickly intertwined his right hand with your left.

You looked at your intertwined hands and looked at his grinning face.

His hands were always a perfect fit to yours.

His soft skin touching yours felt like heaven and you wished you could have it forever.

If he only knew how much you adore him with all your heart...

You smiled bitterly and was drowned in your own thoughts.

The 15-minute walk felt like hours.

Walking hand in hand quietly as if no one wants to speak.

And as soon as you were in front of your house. You took a deep breath and said-

"Nana? Can i ask you a question?" you bravely said. Guess there's no turning back? You thought.

"Hmm, what is it?" He answered you while stretching his body.

"By any chance, do you like someone right now? I mean you should go get a girlfriend, you know haha" you were literally shaking.

A few moments of silence passed.

Then he answered-

"Yes. I do like someone right now." while looking into the night sky full of stars.

You felt kind of weak and clasped on your skirt. You were still hopeful and hoped that you were that someone.

"She's actually quite clumsy, and quite stubborn like i am, Y/n." He started to confess.

It was too painful for you to hear but you stayed and listened.

"She always had this genuine smile which makes my heart flutter with love every single time. She never wanted to be the center of attraction. She loves what i cook for her, too" He said while chuckling. He looks like he was really in love.

How lucky...you thought

Tears were starting to form into your eyes.

"She loves art and hates any physical activities."

But...why does it feel like he was describing you?

You continued to listen and this time you were sure.

"She never liked being alone and she loves sunflowers and purple colored flowers a lot."

He was still looking at the night sky while a tear escaped from your eyes.

Your heart was happy. Too happy that it might explode any moment.

"Can you guess....who that someone is?" He said while looking back at you.

"I-is it I? N-nana?" you asked.

He sheepishly smiled and brushed his fluffy hair.

"Yes. You're the one I like, y/n." He said as he looked straight into your eyes brim with tears.

I actually wrote this chapter few days ago and i am speechless because of the sunflower coincidence!
