Thirty-eight (My med school sweetheart)

"Ugh I'm so exhausted and we're not even starting yet...." You said as you plopped yourself on a swivel chair in the staff room.

It was just 4:36 in the morning but it was normal for you guys to be at the hospital that early because of your internship.

As 3rd year medical students, you had to surpass certain number of hours of clinical experience to have your clearance signed.

You and Renjun are classmates since 1st year and you two were lucky to have the opportunity to have your hands on experience from a well-known hospital located in Seoul.

They said only the best students from medical schools are qualified to have their internship at this hospital so it was a great privilege.

Renjun prepared his stuff and chuckled at how exhausted you look.

"Have you finished your rounds yesterday?" He asked.

"Barely did. There were too much patients from the 6th and 7th floor...plus the Emergency station was so exhausting." You sulked.

"Well guess what~ Dr. Han told me yesterday that new interns are gonna be transferred today. He told me they were from top medical schools from different cities." Renjun said as he wore his ID.

You gasped.

"Does that mean we'll be working with more people now?" You said in a happy tone.

It made you happy because that means less work.

Renjun sat on the double deck bed and nodded at you.

You smiled to yourself and wore yours as well.

"Gosh it's almost 5am." You said as you stood to get your nursing cap.

"Where's Fullsun tho? It's almost time to meet Dr. Han." Renjun said.

"You know how slow that guy moves. I bet the sun will show up before he does." You said and it made Renjun chuckle.

The door swung open and it revealed Dr. Han along with 5 new interns.

You bowed at them and one guy caught your eye.

"As expected from you two. You're here early today." Dr. Han said with a soft chuckle as he patted Renjun's shoulder.

You smiled at him and he started asking for the new students to introduce themselves one by one.

"Hello, I'm Park Areum from Ulsan University." The only girl from the group said. She seemed quite bubbly and cute too.

"Park Jisung. I'm from Kyungpook National University in Daegu." He said he looks like a soft hamster and he looked pretty shy.

"Lee Jeno, also from Daegu." Another guy said. Far different from Jisung, he looked very manly but his eye smile balanced his overall looks.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Zhong Chenle, I'm an exchange student from China." He said. He looked really smart and you were amazed by how cute he looked.

"My name is Na Jaemin and I'm from Busan." He introduced. He was the guy who caught your eye earlier.

This guy looked really snob unlike the others. He was just staring blankly at you, not even tried giving you a smile.

Renjun nudged you and you realized it was your turn to introduce yourself from your future colleagues.

"Hello, I'm Cha Y/n from Yonsei University here in Seoul." You introduced.

They smiled back at you except from Jaemin who just looked at you from head to toe.
