Chapter Ten:: Makeover

Jin Young's POV

I was at home laying on my bed trying to figure out who I was suppose to go to Prom with.

But I realized that I should't be holding back anymore.

I should tell Lexi how I really feel.

I called Hye Jung.

Hye Jung: Y-Yeoboseyo? (h-hello?)

Me: Hye Jung ah~ I'm sorry, but I can't go to prom with you.

Hye Jung: BWO?! (what?!) It's too late to cancel!! What do you mean you can't?

Me: I want to make this Night memorable for someone else. Sorry.

Hye Jung: B-but O-oppa!! You can't do this to me!!!

Me: Sorry.

I hanged up and notice it was almost 5. Prom starts at 8.

Lexi's POV

I was sitting around at home eating chips while watching T.V, guess this is how I'll spend my prom night. I was in my PJ's ready to go to sleep anytime soon. I'll tell my grandkids all about this one day.

I'd hate to be me right now!

First of all:

My Best Friend has cancer

Second:

He's going to the states to get cured and not sure if he's ever coming back.

Third: I won't be able to go to prom.

This sucks! My life is a total wreck!

I heard the doorbell rang.

Who could that be?!

I opened the door.

I looked from bottom to top.

It was Jin Young.

He was all suited up.

He had a calm face until he saw what I was wearing.

"YAH!!! WHY ARE YOU DRESSED LIKE THAT?! YOU'RE SUPPOSE TO BE IN A DRESS RIGHT NOW, LOOKING GLAMOROUS!"

He yelled.

He made me drop the chip I was eating.

"Huh?"

"Aren't You planning to go to prom?" he asked.

"uhhh--no?"

He looked at me in a weird way.

"I-I Don't have date." I explained.

"Of Course you don't, sunwoo just left an hour ago. So I guess you have to settle for me." he said

Uh-- you? Nah!! i'd rather stay here. :p

"싫어 (I don't want to!)" I shouted.

"It wasn't a suggestion."

He grabbed me and carried me over his shoulder. You know! How you kidnap someone.

"Yah! Put me down!! !" i yelled.

"lalalala~ Not caring~"

He dragged me to his car and drove me to beauty salon.

"this is Lexi, can you fix her? For Prom." Jin young said to the lady that worked there.

"uhuh-" the lady replied.

She took me to the dressing room, and handed me a dress.

It was such a beautiful dress, It looked really expensive.

"uhm- I-I can't wear that." i said.

"What do you mean? Ms. lexi?"

"It looks supeeeerr expensive!! I won't be able to pay for that!" I explained.

"Ha- Mr. Jung already paid for this, he expects you to be wearing it to prom." she replied.

What? I had a feeling I didn't want to ask how much the dress was.

"O-oh well~"

I put the dress on.

"Wah! Amazing. Mr. Jung sure knows how to pick a dress for his girlfriend." she said.

"G-girlfriend? Sorry, I'm not his Girlfriend."

"Oh, I see. Let's get going on your hair."

She took me to the hair place of the salon..

She told me to take a seat.

After she was done with my hair she got to the make up.

Once she was finish I went to the mirror.

"is this really me?"

"sure is honey!!" The lady said.

She held out her hand for a handshake.

"Mrs. Jang, always at your service, call me anytime honey!"

I gave her a smile.

"you look so gorgeous!!" she said.

We headed back to the lounge of the salon.

Jin young was waiting there.

He stood up once he saw me.

"L-Lexi a-ah~ uhh-uhh

가자 (let's go) Prom's almost about to start.
