A turn of events

Chapter 10

We finally did it. We won. It was the last day of the final exam week and we made it out alive! Well for me it's not a surprise, neither is it for Rogue and Rufus, but my other friends kinda, I'm glad they survived. Sting was at a couple of points of failling, but he passed by some miracle.

"I can believe an idiot like you passed every single one of his exams." Minerva said, looking at Sting.

"Hey what are you saying an idiot like me! I'm a genius! Right Rogue?"

"No."

"Hey!"

"If I remember well, which I always do." Rufus said, putting a hand on his chin thingking. "Sting is not an idiot, he was doing well in school before, he is just too lazy and preoccupied by other things now, so he acts like an idiot and doesn't study."

"I know you are defending me Rufus, but I don't think it works that much...

Everybody laughed at him and we got out of school. We were going to celebrate the end of school to 8island, to eat some burgers. It's every student's spot after school or during lunch. Mr.Yajima is a really good cook, and loves young people, so it's always fun going there.

"Hey! Some young blood again! How are you kids? You did well in school?"

"Of course, Mr.Yajima, we had good grades even Sting!" I said and I heard Sting let out a cry out of desperation.

"Will you leave alone? It's not my fault if I am not good at school!"

"Yes it is, if you were listening in class and studying you would have better grades." Rogue said.

"He is right,leave him alone, he still didn't fail them." Mister Yajima said, laughing and his face changed to serious all of a sudden. "But Sting, I hope you become more serious with your life, you will not always be lucky."

"Y-Yes, I will."

"Good, now for the food, same things as always kids?"

"So Korimi, how well did you do in your math exam?" Yukino asked, smiling at me.

"Ah, ummm, I had 98%"

Everybody stopped eating their burgers to look at me with big eyes, what did I say?

"You had 98% and you spent 3 weeks lying about being awful at math, good luck girl to make it believable to Lyon." Minerva said, laughing.

"I will make it believable, believe me."

Well I hope... WHAT AM I GONNA DO IF HE DON'T BELIEVE ME! Now I'm stressing out great.

"Mmmh... If you say so."

What am I doing here seriously...?

I was stressing out now, I was in front of Lyon's (and Gray's) house, ready to confront Lyon. I was going to confess to him, say that I like him and see what he thinks of me! I still had the time to go back maybe I should...NO! Korimi you will make a woman of yourself and go ring that bell! After an eternity of me stressing out in front of the door, I finally rang the bell and waited for Lyon to answer. When he opened the door I swear I stopped breathing. I absolutely didn't know how to react, so I just reacted the worst way I could.

...I jumped in his arms and hugged him.

"Whoa! Not that I mind, but why are you hugging me like that for?" He said, laughing.

At least I am the only one feeling awkward.

"You are the best, I did really well in my math exam!"
