Claire's POV.

After the scene at the cafeteria, I went for my next class which was biology.

Our biology teacher Mrs. Morgan, a plump short woman around her early 30s was teaching us Pests and diseases  of agriculture.

"Am quite sure you have been taught about pests in middle school, so who can define a pest?" Mrs. Morgan asked.

Some hands went up including mine and a tall skinny boy was chosen.

"A pest can be defined as any organism capable of causing damage or disturbance to crop plant." The skinny boy answered.

"Well that's correct but pest do not only affect plants but also animals." Mrs. Morgan stated.

"Okay, now can you give me examples of pests?" Mrs. Morgan continued.

"Birds!"

"Insects!"

"Worms!"

"Ticks and lice!"

"Rodents!"

"Claire Mark!"

The whole class bursted into laughter. And am pretty sure you can guess who said that, well your guess is as good as mine; Raymond. He had a big smirk on his face as the laughter went on.

I told you a day doesn't pass without him causing a scene for me.

"Quiet down everyone! Well Raymond, I'll have you know that all human are pests with YOU inclusive." Mrs. Morgan said as a-matter - of - facty.

I watched as the smirk on his face slowly disappeared and a small smile appeared on my face. Thanks to Mrs. Morgan who saved my butt.

Finally the day came to an end but not without Raymond and his friends making me sit on red food coloring, making everyone think that it was my Time Of the Month.

It was quite embarrassing but am happy no one took pictures and it was only at P.E class.

My legs hurt right now because I decided not to take the bus and walk all the way home.

As I walked home, I noticed that a man on hoodie was following me. At first I thought maybe we are just going the same way so let me forget about him.

But then I quickened my steps and so did he, I started jogging and he followed suit. What concluded it was that I started running and so did he.

I was beginning to get scared. Is that what the boy at the cafeteria meant by I will regret what I did??

"Ohh Lord please don't let me die, at least because of my Mom don't let me die." I prayed as I continued to run.

I ran until I came to my street, he wasn't too close but he was gaining on me. I increased my pace and I was four houses away from mine.

I ran faster and faster then got to my front porch. I turned back to see him three houses away from mine. I fumbled with my keys as I struggled to open the door. Now he was almost at my yard, I quickly opened the door and locked it immediately.

Then it dawn on me that I was a fool, I got scared because of a simple threat and the man who I was afraid of had ran pass my yard and I realized he was running to catch the bus at the end of my street. Gosh I'm such a fool.

I decided to go upstairs and take a long bath as today was just not my day.

"How could she??" I said with visible annoyance in my voice.
