Ballie Pov
Long ago, there was once a terror strike in Japan where a God known as a monster had threaten that territory. The union were forcing to advance the beast and tried to destroy it with all the weapons they could obtain. At exactly of what the origins vary, but it is generally depicted as an enormous, violent, prehistoric sea monster awakened and empowered by nuclear radiation. His name was Godzilla or what Japan would call him, 'Gojira' the most destructive monster that was yet to kill anyone that has been harmed. My parents told me that my great-great-great grandmother met him and they seem to have some sort of relationship between them and I kind of find that weird. A giant monster mated with a human? Really something that happened in that timeline and the old legend of how he'll return is nothing but a myth to me.
"Ballie! Pay attention." I heard my teacher Mr. Wheeler shouted through the class as I sat up brushing my raven hair out of my face.
"Sorry sir." I apologized.
"This is the 4th time this week that you've been off task. Mind telling me or in front of the class?" He asked as I gulped hearing snickers around me.
"Not-"
"Go ahead. You've wasted my time and I would want to know what your thinking about." He said in a strict tone as I got out of my desk to stand in front of the class where all eyes were on me.
"I was thinking back to the old legend that has been a culture of my family named Godzilla. I still don't believe he's really that much of a big deal or the fact that a family member got together with him." I heard snickers and mumbling as Mr. Wheeler snapped his fingers to stop them as he leaned over my ear.
"I know that your really prestige's about that creature knowing he may or will not return for so long. If I catch you again thinking about that bombable of no good or disrespecting way again. I'm calling your parents." He said as I nodded before getting my seat hearing, 'Weirdo', 'Freak', 'Fake'.
My name is Ballie Rain and I am a high school student in Lakewood High School. Things like this bother me or any of my reputation if any case that I have only 2 friends that stick up for me at times. There names are Joey and Sally that grew up with me and stood by me for support and quite understand about the legacy of that monster. However, I still wonder if he is real or maybe just something my parents would try to scare me for no reason.
