-Talia's POV

"Guys, hurry up now!"

I stuffed my tote bag with a towel and examined the items. It fell perfectly ontop of my sunscreen bottle and wallet. Once I checked everything off my list, I swung the bag around my shoulder and ran into the lounge.

"Come on you lazy asses," I groaned as I saw them all laying on the couch. It was noon and they were all stilll lounging around. "The beach is calling me!" Unlike the zombies on the couch, I was quite perky. It had been so long since I'd been on the beach.

Back in Australlia, I would be at the beach at least once a week. My toes were so desperately craving to be touching the cold water even if it wasn't from my usual beach in Aussie.

"Yeah and it's telling you to shut up," Michael laughed as he got up from his seat and turned off the video game system. I gave him a playful glare and he ruffled my hair. "Calm down, babe. We're all going now."

I cheered as we all began to pile out of the living room. Finally after all the concerts and signings in New Jersey, we were ready to move on to another state. But, of course, we had a two day break before getting back on the road. I suggested to go to the beach and that was how we planned to spend the day.

"Wait," Kendall spoke, causing us to all freeze in place. "I need to talk to Talia." Oh great. "Alone - It's a girl thing."

"Erm.. Yeah.. Okay." Luke shrugged as the four left the bus.

"What? Do you need a tampon or something?" I asked in all seriousness. Whenever someone said the term "girl thing", I automatically thought about periods. Maybe that's why she was so pissed.

She gave me a disgusted look. Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion and she even placed a hand on her heart for dramatic effect. What a drama queen! "What the hell? No. I'm not PMSing."

"Okay." Ooops. "Then, what do you want? Come to insult me some more?"

"I saw the picture." She clicked her tongue.

"What picture?"

"I saw the picture of you making out with Luke!" She yelled. I felt my skin tense up. "Its all over twitter! I can't believe you. I told you to stay away from him!"

As soon as I saw the tears fill her eyes, I felt guilty and sorry for Kendall. I knew what it was like to be cheated on and that's probably how Kendall felt.

"I'm sorry. It's not like that." I began to explain.

"That's what everyone says," She croaked, shaking her head from left to right. "I love Luke. I love him so much and you're getting in the way of everything!"

"I was drinking a lot-"

She cut me off, holding a hand in front of my face. "Is that suppose to be an excuse? He's not really yours, you bitch! He's mine. Only mine!"

"I was completely wasted and I didn't even remember-."

My cheek began to feel numb and a piercing sting followed after. It took me a few moments to realize what just happened. Kendall slapped me. I cupped my cheek with both hands. Her hurt dark eyes looked angrily at me. They were no longer filled with pain or tears.

I opened my mouth to gasp but another gasp filled the air. We both snapped our heads to the sound and stared back at Calum. His eyes were widened. His jaw was dropped. His hands were clenched into fists.

"What the hell, Kendall," Calum yelled, almost as shocked as I was.

She rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "Of course, side with the princess. Just like everyone else does." With her final comment, she stomped off the bus and Calum rushed over to me. He gently placed his hands onto the sides of my face and I winced at the contact with my freshly smacked face.
