My friends and I walked the streets looking for the house. We passed many similar looking homes, with nice cars parked out front. We walked up the walkway then entered the home that resembled mines. He walked in seconds later after us. I caught a glimpse of him and instantly thoughts began to run through my head. I was nervous to speak, so I walked into the kitchen for a prep talk.
I then recollected my thoughts and told myself that I was overreacting, I walked back to the living room.
"Hey wassup" I said to him attempting to flirt but not make it noticable.
"Hey how are you" he said loud enough for me to hear. Usually he speaks real low making everything inaudible.
"I'm great thank you" I said smiling.
"Hey come here lemme show you something" he said waving me to follow behind him.
He was about 6'2, he had a nice chocolate complexion, waves, and a slim figure to match.
I followed behind him to the back room. He closed the door behind me, we were what seemed to look like his bedroom. He motioned for me to sit as he rummaged through a drawer.
I sat down on the bed, and he pulled out a notebook and sat down next to me.
"I didn't know how to tell you so I'll just let you read it." He said handing the notebook to me.
I looked at him, for reassurance, he nodded.
I opened the book and the first page was dated 9/21 it read:
Today I entered into class behind her, and I watched her closely. The way she walked and carried herself. It was all so beautiful to me, I really wish I had the guts to tell her how I really feel. I watched as her and her best friend smile and laugh. My best friend calls my name and teases me about my crush, but I don't care because he wouldn't know a thing about truly liking and appreciating a girl. He goes after girls based on looks and not their hearts.
But she, she is different, unique and mysterious there's something about her I don't know and that makes me like her more.10/2
Today I took my usual route and walked closely behind her. I watched as she walked with confidence and swayed her head to her music. We entered class and she went to her seat and her best friend came over.
"So last hour Jones got mad and flipped out on everyone, and I literally said fuck you and left"
"Hmm wow...no sir, why did he get mad?"
"Cause those bitches can't sing the fuck"
"Oh you right...you sho is right" she replied laughing.
I smiled and then my friend called my name, teasing me.
"Shut up bro"
"Yooo look"
I looked in the direction he was looking, and she was laughing with the dude sitting behind her. I felt a little jealous, to be honest.I finish reading and look at him smiling.
"Awww you really mean this?" I ask
him.
He nods smiling. "Why me? Out of all other girls?" I ask
"Because your different your not with the bs your really about your grind, your beautiful and unique."
"Awww really?"
"Yeah, so do you feel the same way?"
"Look whether this is real or not I'm going to go ahead and say it" I took a deep breath and looked him in his eyes.
"Yes I do like you, a lot" he jumped up and hugged me making us fall over on the bed. He got on top of me kissing my face.
"Ayoo chill" I laugh hugging him back.
He stopped and look at me smiling, "hmm let me think NOPE" then went back attacking me with love.
