"The 17th Shadow of our 16th king is Kim Sung( Father of Kim Y/N) and I shall also declare that due to his great service during past as a Shadow of the king, his son will be the next Shadow but his identity will be kept confidential as always," the Queen mother proudly exclaimed in front of all her officials during the ceremony.
After 2 years
After 2 years Kim Sung who was declared as the shadow and was treated with great honor, his wife gave birth to a beautiful child and at the palace the queen had already given birth to a beautiful prince who was 2 years old.
After few weeks Kim Sung was called at the palace and the king asked the gender of the baby which was the common and the first question always asked by the king before he approves the child as the next shadow. " My wife has given birth to a beautiful son and i am glad he might become the next shadow of the crown prince who was born in the same date as him, " Kim sung said to his king and no one was around the palace as the shadows details were kept confidential until he was the crown prince was enthroned.
"Then since its your son and he might be trustworthy as you, now i approve him to become the next shadow" king approves." And he will be named as Holang-I (the tiger)."
The king ended the ceremony of appointing the Shadow and now it was the responsible of the Shadow's family that the child was kept away form other people and the child had to start building up their material arts skills under the guidance of the Army general, who was also the most trusted men of the king. So, the Shadow's identity was only known by it's parents, the army general and the crown prince.
The Shadow had to start its training at the age of 8 and it continued until the crown reaches its crucial age of the becoming a king. But they had to also accompany the prince always like a shadow not letting others to notice themselves and the Shadow always wore a black dress with a black mask only revealing their eyes.So, they got to train only during the midnight and on dawn before the sun arises.
