Chapter 22

Lowkey lemons - not really

Sakura opened her eyes 

she lay in what felt like a cloud, 

she tried to sit up but only felt pain rip through her body, 

'oh well at least that means i'm still alive' she grimaced 

grunting from the pain she tried to stretch out, 

when the memories and horrors of where she was returned, 

the torture, the pain, the loneliness 

the cold of the floor she slept on, only 

she didn't feel cold, or stiff 

she was comfortable and warm, 

looking around she realised she was in a bed... Her room in Sasuke's mansion, 

it was too good to be true she thought, 

then she briefly remembered being tortured particularly horribly, with Sasuke? Was he crying? 

She couldn't remember it was as if her mind wouldn't allow her to remember. 

She heard the door of the bathroom creak open, out walked a very shirtless Sasuke, covered in only a towel, 

sucking her breath in she decided that if she were in a coma she would much rather stay there than wake up,

'blossom you're not in a coma' his smooth deep voice spoke 

'That sounds exactly like something Sasuke in my coma would say' Sakura pouted 

he chuckled lightly then looked at her his face growing serious again, 

he slowly walked towards her, and ignoring the pain she sat up to look back at him, 

both taking each other in, as if they were scared one would look away and the other would disappear,

'I am sorry' he said quietly 

'w-what?' Sakura whispered 

'I should have protected you better' he glared at the floor ashamed 

she placed her hand on his face a gentle smile on her lips

he looked into her eyes, and suddenly she could sense him so close to her, his smell, his emotions, his pain, loss, loneliness, his anger, and... Love? 

Suddenly his lips were on hers,

they kissed passionately, neither one stopping except to come up for air, for fear the other would slip away, 

her hands went to his hair and his to her slightly exposed stomach, 

Sakura pulled him closer to her, he begun trailing kisses down her neck, unbuttoning her shirt to kiss lower and lower, making her gasp

they needed each other, 

their emotions poured into their actions, 

every touch a healing revitalising cure. 

Soon everything was off the pair were vulnerable, 

they moved gently now, trusting their assurance of each other, Sasuke placed gentle kisses along Sakura's stomach, tracing her entire body, 

his towel forgotten on the floor, 

the pair remained undisturbed until morning. 

Sasuke: 

Sasuke woke up smelling a very familar scent, Sakura lay next to him pressed right against his body, he let out a satisfied growl, Sakura chuckled a little her bright green eyes opening slightly 'Did you just growl?' of cause being the dignified man he was he denied causing her to raise her eyebrow at him, 

he placed his hand on her back and pulled her closer to him, kissing her foreheard 

'Sasuke?'

'hn' 

'Is all the drama over yet?' 

Sasuke wanted to tell her everything would be fine from now on, that he had removed any possible pain from her life, but he knew they weren't even close to being finished, 

Naruto was gone, Madara either killed him or had him as prisoner, Itachi might still be alive, and a traitor at that, Madara was still alive, the Hyuuga clan apparently does exist, the Akatsuki are almost unstoppable, 

'you're safe now Sakura, I won't let anyone hurt you anymore' he promised to both her and himself, he would rather die than see her hurt again 

'I will do my best to protect you too' she said earnestly, shocking Sasuke, he stared at her in awe, she stared back determined, 

smiling a little he pulled her lips to his, kissing her lightly 

'thank you blossom'

I apologise for taking so long to update, been really busy with exams, but this is the final chapter for the story! I will start the next book soon dw dw it'll focus a lot more on NaruHina too btw, 

sorry for not writing a proper lemon scene but I am but a small child, plz don't hate me!
