Chapter One: New Neighbor

In this town word travels faster then anything you'd ever seen and I mean really fast. I'm consider the bad boy around here because I tend to break the law and I've been in juvenile detention a few times and yeah maybe I have a small record but I ain't never harm nobody... that didn't have it coming to'em. My hair was short and dirty blonde and my blue eyes seemed to work on the ladies more then my mucles did but I wasnt complaining. I've managed to keep a low profile for a little while around here but I need to make a living and I'm on my own. The little money I make down at the Car Shop isn't enough so I do a little extra activities to help out.

"Dallas I want that car fixed first thing tomorrow morning boy! you hear me?!" Joe yelled at me as I walked to my trucked.

"Yeah I hear ya It'll get done no worries" I called back and I got into my truck and started her up. I'd had enough of Joe and him telling me what to do but my he is my uncle and the only family I got left besides my nephew Noah. I drove off down the dirt road and waved to the few people that still liked me. When I drove and parked in my driveway Noah, my six year old nephew came running outside and I got out of the truck and ran to pick him up.

"Aye buddy how's it goin?" I asked him as I walked into the house with him in my arms.

"Nothing I saw this real pretty girl come here today and she moved in right across the street, see there she is!" he said pointing to her threw the door and I turned to look at her. She had long brown hair and you could tell she wasn't from around here or the country at all she was to dolled up for that but Noah was right she was pretty.

"Well why don't we go help the young lady out? what'ya say?" I asked him and I put him down and took off running over to her house and I followed behind.

"Noah don't run across the street without looking" I told him once we made it over to the girls house and she turned to look at us and smiled nervously.

"Hey hows it going? We uh we just came over to see if you needed any help?" I told the girl and she looked around at all the boxes on the front lawn and laughed.

"Um yeah I do my parents are still on there way down and I came with the moving truck" she said and I began picking up boxes and Noah picked up the small ones he could find.

"Okay well just lead the way and it'll be done before they even get here" I told her and she headed inside and led us to a big room and I sat the boxes down. I went out and grabbed the rest of the boxes and set them down wherever she asked me and when I was done we stood by the  door.

"Thank you for all this I really appreciate it oh I'm Madison by the way,  I just moved here for New York" she said and I smiled and shook her hand.

"New York hun? big city isn't it? Well I'm Dallas and welcome to this small ass place they call a town Denville" I told her and chuckled and she gave a little giggle.

"Thank you and thank you again for the help your little guy here did a amazing job as well" she said looking at Noah and he hid behind me.

"This here is little Noah my nephew" I told her and she looked a bit shocked.

"Oh so he- he's not your son?" she asked curiously and I laughed.

"No he's not he's my brother's son" I said smiling and I could see how embarrassed she was.

"Wow I'm so sorry I shouldnt have assumed" she said and I chuckled.

"It's okay city girl enjoy the rest of your evening" I said smiling and picking Noah up and taking him back to the house. I could hear the door shut as I got to mine and I went inside and put Noah down.
