"A drop in the ocean , A change in the weather I was praying that you and me might end up together It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert ,But I'm holding you closer than most 'cause you are my heaven I don't wanna waste the weekend If you don't love me pretend ,A few more hours then it's time to go ,As my train rolls down the east coast I wonder how you keep warm , It's too late to cry , Too broken to move on" - A Drop In The Ocean
I stayed in my bed for three days straight with the exception of getting up to eat, shower, and open the door for my parents when they finally arrived. Dallas had come over all three days but I didn't get up to answer the door and I immediately regretted giving him my number because he called at least twenty times. I felt bad that I was ignoring him but it was for his own good or well mine. My phone went off for the first time this morning but it wasn't a phone call it was a text from none other than Dallas but it was his first time texting me since I gave him my number.
Meet me @ lake lily in 10 mins don't keep me waiting.

I read the text over at least three times I snorted and didn't reply. I will not meet him anywhere I refuse. As I contemplated whether or not to go I decided I wouldn't and I heard a knock on my door and I sat up to see my dad.
"Honey me and your mom have to go meet with the mayor for work stuff you going to be alright here alone?" he asked and I smiled.
"Ive been here alone all this time haven't I? go have fun or whatever" I told him and I got up and shut my door on him. I quickly got dressed in a white blouse and a pink and blue high waisted skirt and I pulled on a simple pair of sandals. I grabbed my phone and keys and headed out to my car.
"Bye mom, Bye dad ill be back later" I called out to them from in my car and I drove off before either one could stop me.
I put the top down on my BMW and I put on my sunglasses and I just drove. I didn't know where I was going until I got there and I pulled over on the dirt road and got out of the car. I looked around and sighed when I realized Dallas was standing there skipping rocks across the lake water. I made my way over to him without making a sound and I stood my distance behind him as he continued to skip rocks across the lake.
"I knew you'd show" He said not even looking back at me just contuining to toss the rocks.
"Oh really? how is that?" I asked folding my arms across my chest.
"Cause you cant resit my southern boy charm and country accent" he said now turning to look at me and smiling his irresistible smile.
"Oh yeah that's totally it" I said laughing and pulling my sunglasses up on top of my head.
"I'm sorry about the other night, I didn't expect to meet someone so soon and fall so fast" He said dropping the rocks left in his hand. I looked past him at the water and I watched as the riffles from the tossed rocks subsided. I didn't know what I was looking for in the water, maybe some kind of sign or answer as to what I should do at this point but I knew everything I did for now on would be for me.
"What do you want from me Dallas?" I asked truly not knowing and I finally worked up enough courage to look him in the eye.
"I don't know Madison... I ju- I just get this feeling in my chest when I'm with you and I feel like the closer you get to me the more I push you away" he said and he was right he did exactly that.
"I'm not going to hurt you" I told him in honesty and I felt the wind blow hard making my skirt and hair fly forward and normally I would freak if my hair or outfit were out of place but right now I didn't care.
