Lakekit was Sound Asleep, He Was Dreaming Of Himself As A Warrior... A Broad, Muscular Grey-Blue Tom... His Eyes Shining, All His Clanmates Howling His Name.... It Was Like He Heard It.... In Real Life!

"Lakekit... Lakekit... LAKEKIT!"

Lakekit's Eyes Flew Open As His Brother Began Poking Him.

"Hey!" He Snarled "I Was in A Middle Of A Good Dream!" His Brother, Flamekit, Rolled His Eyes.

"Fine," He Snapped "You Can Keep On Dreaming On Those She-Cats Wanting You To Be There Mates."

Lakekit Pounced On His Brother, Kicking His Belly Heavily. Flamekit Mewled.

"Mama!!! Lakekit Kicked Me!" Flamekit Whined

"You Shouldn't Have Been Picking On Your Brother Then" She Replied, Grunting,"And YOU," She Said, Looking Accusingly At Lakekit, "Don't Need To Bring Every Little Thing Into A Fight."

Now, Both Kits Rolled Their Eyes And Ran Outside. Flamenose Was Organizing The Patrols, All The Warriors Swarmed Him, While Stormstar Was Talking To The Dawn Patrol. He Looked All Around Camp In Wonder, Then Saw His Brother Next To Him And Snorted.

'He's No Better Then A Frog On A GrassHopper. But Mama And Dad WANT Me To Be His Friend, Always Getting ME In Trouble... Smart-Mouse.' Lakekit Thought, Huffing. Then He Saw Flamekit Looking At Him, His Eyes Were Narrowed And He Muttered Something Under His Breath.

"Hey Frog-Face." He taunted "Wanna come Play With Your Better Brother?"

"That Wasn't How A Warrior Would Act," A Voice Replied Him, Both Kits Turned To See Mintpaw And Thornfur Walking Towards Them.

"Mintpaw's Right Flamekit, Apologize At Once" Thornfur Ordered.

"Sorry Lakekit..." Flamekit Said, Not Meaning It, Be His Expression. Mintpaw And Thornfur Exchanged A Glance a Before Padding To The Clearing.

"Kits!" Onioneyes Called,"Come To The Nursery, Its Getting Late!"

Flamekit And Lakekit Jumped Up To Their Paws "Race You!" Flamekit Challenged Before Scampering Off.

"No Fair!" Lakekit Whined Playfully Before Racing Off After Him. He Ran Into The Nursery Full Speed And Tammed Into Onioneyes, Who Grunted In Responce. Flamekit Chuckled, Then Covered It With A Bout Of Coughing. Onioneyes Glared At Her Flame-Colored Son who Looked At Her Innocently. She Sighed And Brought Her Kits In With A Sweep Of A Tail. Lakekit Looked Up At His Family Lovingly. Then Fell Asleep.
