Running down the street screaming, following the mob heading to City Hall.

*at city hall*

"Attention, everyone, calm down." Mayor Charlie said in desperation to have a calm crowd to speak to.

Everyone calmed down and all you could here was a baby or two scared, unaware of of the situation at hand.

"WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!" A woman screamed who was holding one of the crying, probably not the best tactic but I understand this came out of nowhere.

"We have it all taken care of. You all are safe, we promise this is the safest building in the whole city." The mayor said with a face that wasn't so reassuring. "I have no idea what hap-"
The mayor was interrupted with a huge rumble felt by everyone in the building.

"What's happening? Why did this random gust of wind come out of nowhere? Where did it come from? How is it so strong?" I said looking for valid answers from somebody. I was starting to get agrivated with how calm the mayor was being.

"We don't know the answers to those questions." He said staring at me. Then another rumble came stronger than the one before.

"Am I the only one trying to make sense of this!? Didn't you feel that!! Why are you acting so calm over this!" I said standing up practically screaming at the mayor.

"Listen this could just be an earthquake. No need to worry this is normal for this area." The mayor said irritating me even more.

Smoke filled the room. I began to feel light headed.

Soon all I saw was black.

I woke up with a loud buzzing sound that woke me from me sudden sleep.

My eyes, they felt like a thousand pounds, making it hard to open them.

Slowly, ever so slightly, I awaken to see where I was. What I saw, was I and many others lined up caught up in a deep slumber.

One by one, as if synchronised, they wake up also confused on the environment we have somehow arrived to.

"Hello everybody." A loud voice said startling everyone in the room. "Welcome to the safest place on earth, well off of it."

Mumbles go around of people wondering and not understanding the situation at hand.

"We are in the most safe evacuation ship of all time. The wind was a wind like no other. The wind was after the world. Destroying it. The wind was like no other evil. It was after some of you. Some of you are different." The voice says trailing off. "Anyways I hope you enjoy yourselves throughout your time on this ship, my associates will be handing out brochures of everything we have available for your entertainment. Goodbye." The voice stops and it goes silent.

He had left so many questions unanswered, so many blanks left unfilled. What did he mean by some of us is special? Is the whole world on this ship? Or just our town?

I open the brochure and one of my questions were answered, the brochure had said that yes we were the only town on this ship. Apparently select towns were picked but have their own ship.

Reality then struck me. Where was my mom????

"MOM!" I began to scream, "MOM WHERE ARE YOU!!" Nobody was in the room no longer than me and I guy over in the corner about my age. We go to school together in the same year.
I don't have much classes with him but the ones I do have with him, well he's like a flippin encyclopedia!

He stood up, and began coming my way. Becoming nervous I stood up and  started walking towards him to.
