Chp 6- Date Night

"Wait what?"

"You heard me. A date. Tonight. 5. Casual. See you then." He says before I slam the car door.

I need some time to think. I didn't even get my Starbucks yet. I got in my aunts Mustang and drove all the way back to Starbucks.

"BABY IM JUST GONNA SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE, SHAKE IT OFF, SHAKE IT OFF!" I was singing as loud as I could to try to forget things.
I mean.. Should I? I don't know if I'm ready to start dating again. But it's Scott. He wouldn't do that to you. Wait, he already did. Am I arguing with myself? Yes. Yes you are.

I pull up to Starbucks and get out of the car. Dang there's no one here. I quickly get my drink and head out.

As I get back to the mansion, I check the time. Ugh it's only 11:30. I decided to call jenny. She picked up on the first ring.
"Hello..."

"Jenny, hey I just wanted to.... Wait. You're being quiet what's wrong."

"What do you mean nothing is wrong I'm just..." She didn't get to finish
her sentence because someone started screaming her name. Wait. I know that voice.

"JENNY I KNOW YOU DID NOT!"

"Wh..what are you talking about..."

"ISSAC IS NOT AT YOUR HOUSE I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS"

"No Emily he explained everything and I..."

"NO HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN HOW HE CHEATED ON YOU WITH A DUMB BLONDE I CANT BELIEVE YOU WOULD TAKE HIM BACK AFTER ALL THIS!"

"No Emily please don't..." I couldn't hear anymore because I hung up the phone.

I can't believe her. She's blinded by his awesome hair. I mean dang his hair looks good.

Ok it's now 3:00 and I'm still trying to decide if I should go out with Scott. I want to but I'm afraid of getting hurt again. I'm going to.

I get off the couch and get in the shower. When I get out I start rummaging in the closet to find something to wear. He said casual right? I finally decide on some red skinny jeans and a white crop top. It's cute and simple. I straighten my hair and apply some makeup and sit on the couch waiting for him to get here. Knowing him he's going to be early so I might as well be ready.

I hear a car door slam after a few minutes. Well it's now or never. I open the door and walk out to his jeep.

"Emily you look amazing." Scott says when I walk up to him.

"Thanks so do you." I reply. He's wearing a plaid button down with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and some dark jeans and blue converse. Dang he looked good. We get in the jeep and head off the heaven knows where.

"OMG Scott where are we going." I say rather ticked off. He's been driving for 30 minutes and he won't tell me where we are going.

"We're here." He says.

OMG. The fair! I love the fair!

"Scott I love this!!!" I yell as I run off to the rides.

It's now 9:30 and I'm tired. We did a lot of stuff at the fair. I just wanna go home and go to bed.
We pull up to my aunts house and he walks me up to the door.

"Thanks for going with me tonight. Uh.... Here's your bear." He says handing me a gigantic bear he won for me.

"No problem I had lots of fun tonight" I reply.

Then I did something I never thought of doing. I leaned in and kissed him. And he kissed back! I never felt this with Tyler and I'm glad I'm feeling this with him.

I pulled away, said goodnight and left him standing on the porch.

What am I getting myself into.....
