The forest was silent as the hunter stalked the forest. The branches moved with the wind as it came from the west. He stopped as he could scent his next prey. His mouth watered as he licked his blood stained canines from countless kills. He stood at 7 foot tall covered in dirty with old and new blood. He took off towards his prey making his way over fallen trees and rocks with ease. He could hear the sound of his prey with ease now, they were close and soon he was going to have his next kill in sight. But just as he was about to break from the thick forest tree line a sound stopped him dead in his track. His heart stopped as his blood lust vision dimmed. Moving slowly forward his ice blue eyes spotted a group of six human children playing in an open meadow and their coming towards them was a female. Her long brown hair fall down her back in braids as her green eyes shined with laughter and love as she looked at the children that were playing, but what had stopped the beast in his tracks was her laughter, the sound of her voice something that he would never forget. Staying deep in the shadows of the forest he watched as she stopped and started speaking to the children as she placed a basket that was holding plants of different types in it on the ground. For the first time in his life, William Corvinus was now in control of his life.

Zarena smiled softly, her gaze resting on the children playing. Her basket laid on the ground as she spoke. "You guys look like your having fun." She snickered as she knelt beside them. Zarena pulled her long brown braid over her shoulder as one of the little girls walked over to her. "Ms Zarena could you sing us a song?" She begged, as the other children joined in. The children loved her voice, it was soothing and nice to hear. Zarena couldn't help but smile. "Okay fine but afterwards you must head inside, it will be dark soon." She said softly as she took a deep breath. A warm sensation feeling overwhelmed the children as she started to sing. Her voice gentle and calm, carrying a tune that could ease any man or beast. The children sat around her in a huddle til she finished, smiles glowing on their faces. "You sound so good Ms. Zarena." A boy from the back said as she stood to her feet, and grabbed her basket off the ground. "Thank you Koel, now run along everyone. We don't want your parents to be worried." She said as the kids nodded before taking off to their homes. Zarena signed happily to herself as she watched the chosen race towards the village gate. Just then a strong gust of wind which caught her off guard, causing her to drop her basket. She knelt down and picked up the different types of herbs and plants she had collected not knowing that something sinister was coming her way.

William couldn't do anything but watch the female she was beyond beautiful and her voice, it was that of an angel. When she had sang to the children that had flocked around her. He felt the beast inside of him reach a sense of peace and tranquility for once in his life. He watched as she sent the children off to the village, to the safety of their homes and behind the wall that he could easily jump over with a single bound. But watching the female from the shadows he couldn't turn away. He had to know she would be safe before he could even try and comprehend as to what was going on with him, and why he was finally the one in control of his body but most important his life and how this female had changed it. And until he knew why he was going to keep a close eye on her. And while he would be watching no harm of any kind one ever fall upon her while he was around. He watched with an unknown feeling as she turned around and headed towards the village. Just as the sun started to set watched as two guards from the village closed the gate. He let out a chilling howl before he raced off into the forest.
