Mall Fun

Vic's pov

Since I started hugging Dahlen I hadn't let her go yet, I want to make sure she feels loved and protected, it looks as if she's about to fall asleep in my arms, we have about an hour to get to the mall so I whispered to her "Sweetheart, if you want to sleep you can, we will wake you up when we get there" and with that she willingly closed her eyes and drifted off, I was able to see her smile faintly.

Tony looked back and saw me smiling at a sleeping Dahlen, he smiled at me and mouthed "you're going to be an amazing father" I smiled at that comment and kissed the top of Dahlen's head. With Jaime driving, Mike came back and started playing with her hair. "What a beautiful child, were going to have to stop partying and drinking as often so we can be as sober as we can to watch her and take care of her properly" Mike whispered to me, "I know, and I'm willing to quit drinking to make sure she doesn't get the idea that drinking is good" I tell him. He nods.

~Car Ride Over~

"Sweetheart, wake up" I say calmly to Dahlen, shaking her to awaken her. She stirs and her eyes flutter open. "Come on sweetie, it's time to wake up, time to go to the mall"

She jolts up with hearing mall. I laugh. "COME ON COME ON MALL!" She said trying desperately to untangle and unbuckle, as I laugh as she failed, and helped her out, and she drug me out if the car to the already waiting Tony Mike and Jaime. We make our way towards Hot Topic, she runs in and automatically finds a Blink-182 muscle tank. By the end of hot topic, she had gotten a pikachu dress, an Undertale tee-shirt, several bracelets and necklaces ,and two beanies (kitten eared beanie and a bunny one).It was adorable seeing the children drag their parents around the store as the parents kept asking "why are we here" but it was really cute seeing Dahlen run around excitedly jumping around showing clothes and stuff the four of us, she was quite tired after that. Before we left, we stopped by Lush and Francesca's for her, she got some bath things, and then some cute casual outfit. We went to Best Buy and got her an Asus laptop, and she was excited and happy. We went to Dave and Busters ( arcade and food place) and got a pizza and then played lots of games, me and Mike stayed with Dahlen as Tony and Jaime went to get tickets for her some cute stuff from the ticket shop. With Dahlen being as short as she was (barely 5 feet) she layed on top of me while Mike got a seat of his own as we rode the tycoon ( a thing that simulates a roller coaster ride)

She had a lot of fun, I know that much and when we got in the car, she fell right asleep in my arms again, peacefully sleeping with a smile. It warmed my heart. I think I heard her whisper "thank you d-Dad, I love you" but I don't know, I still smiled and played with her hair.
