Took me long enough.

Vic's POV
It's been a week since our exciting outing. I've been trying very hard to make as much time for Dahlen as I possibly could. She's such a wonderful young girl. She's been so sweet. I think she's warming up to everybody quickly. She's been play fighting with Jaime right before every show to "hype him up" as she likes to call it. Her and Tony have also been spending some good time together. Before a show she'll always have this ritual looking thing with him. They start screaming at each other. It's kinda weird how intense they'll get, but it's cute how they're getting along. Mike has been treating her like she's his daughter. It's pretty funny when she'll ask him to go get icecream and he'll pull her strings and say no and she'll pull the "but father" card and he ends up taking her. It's not like she's my daughter, but OUR. Our little family is so wonderful. We've been talking about getting her into a sport after we get her into school. We've talked to her about it and she told us she wants to see what guard is like. We're going to see what that's like when the time comes. But for now, Tony is going to take her to the park. He said he wants some quality father daughter time with her.

Tony's POV
Me and Dahlen have been planning to go to this cute little park in.. Well I have no clue where we're at anymore. We've all traveled a whole lot. But I saw a park and it looked pretty "cute" you could call it.
"Dahlen! Are you ready?" I call out to her
"Yeah! I'm on my way!" I hear her respond then I hear lots of banging and clanking. I hear her screech and then a loud thump. I sigh and walk up the steps and I see her laying on the ground with her face red. She's crying but she's not making noise.
"Um.." She holds her hand out, so I take her hand and help her up, she supports herself with me and the wall, slowly calming down. She told me how she fell because she stepped on her foot after she calmed down. "C'mon hun, let's go ahead and go to the park." I picked her up and carried her to the car so she doesn't break anything, and we go to the park. We pass a lot of over-crowded neighborhoods. What a shame, before they were there, this place was so beautiful.. Well I can't complain. I don't run the system.

~At the park-

I have to wake Dahlen up, as she's fallen asleep on me on the ride home.

"Hey, wake up, we're here." I whisper quietly to her. There's not that many people there. There's a few little kids running around and maybe two kids around Dahlen's age. I hope she gets to make friends.

She wakes up and instantly gets excited. She practically jumps out the door and grabs my hand and runs in asking if we can swing. There's 4 swings. I'm surprised for how much it's grown since I learned about it a long while ago. We get on the swings and after a little, one of the older looking kids walks up to the swings and sits on the one next to Dahlen, they almost instantly started conversing.

Dahlen's POV

Ever since we got here, I've had my eye on this one person. She seemed shy. She didn't carry herself as if she was the most confident girl in the world, but she still looked really prideful. She was a little over 5 feet it looked like. She was a little smaller but you couldn't tell. I don't know why but I really wanted to get to know her. When she walked over, I took my chance. I don't know why it was so easy to talk with her, seeing as I'm not one that can talk well in public areas with new people.
"Hello, how are you?" I try to spark a conversation.
"Oh I'm doing alright, how about yourself" she replied, sort of timidly.
"I'm doing pretty good. So what's your name?" She seemed pretty taken back by it.
"O-oh, um I'm Gayle.W-what's yours?" Wow. Such a pretty name.
"That's such a nice name, wow. My name is Dahlen. But so Gayle, will you tell me about yourself? Like what do you like to do? How old are you?"
"That's a pretty name, Dahlen. Well uhm.. I mean I play lots of video games, does that count? And I'm 15."
"Video games are pretty fun, and yes it counts. I like to craft and do all that dangerous stuff with fire and needles and-that sounds dangerous, I mean cooking and needle crafts, so I don't sound like I'm a dangerous mess. And I am 14." She seems like she's loosened up with me already. I look over at Tony and ask him through eye conversation and sign language if we can ask who Gayle is with if we can have her come over. He said yes.
"That's another thing. I love fire in general." I see her eyes spark with excitement about the topic. Something about it seemed cute to me. "I may sound like a pyromaniac for the next minute or so but oh my god I just love fire. I love the smell of a match after you put it out. It calms me down for some reason, and oh don't get me started on watching a candle burn." I can tell this is a topic she's fond of. I can relate. Not many people know that I do like fire because I haven't gotten to. I realize something.
"Oh my god Tony, we need to get candles! And matches. Gotta get them matches." I exclaim quickly. I look back over at Gayle and ask her, "Hey, would you want to come over and be my friend even though I just met you?" I can see excitement in her eyes. She almost immediately says yes. I ask her if she has to ask her parents.
"No. They don't care. They have no clue where I am anymore nor do they care. But oh well. Their loss." She sassily flips her short hair, and stands up and strikes a pose. "They're missing out on all of THIS!" She gestures to herself. Both me and Tony are laughing. And oddly enough, there's a little voice in my head echoing how that was cute.
"Yeah they don't know what they're missing out on. Neither does my real parents. They can forget how fabulous I am, because they'll never get to have my fabulousness sprinkles upon them again. That's good at least, I'm saving fabulousness." Were both now standing and posing together. I hear a click of a camera and see Tony with a Polaroid camera. He grabs the picture and waves it.
"I'm so glad I got this camera. I don't care what the boys think, I'm starting a photo album. It'll be about y'all." He states. Me and Gayle look at each other. We both just kinda stared at each other then we hugged. There was no indication. There was something about the hug. Yes it was just a hug, but the way it emotionally felt, it was strange. She held me tightly and closely as did I. It was as if at that very moment, mentally, things were clicking and getting put together. This was the start of another thing. *click* It didn't bother us. We stayed hugging for a little. Tony basically had to break us apart. "Hey, girls, I hate to break the love-feat that's happening, but we should get going if you want candles and such." We stopped hugging and smiled at each other. Tony then took us both out of the park and to the store.
~at the store to avoid awkward car rides~
We all instantly go to the candle aisle. It's been way too long since I've been down here. We all start smelling the candles and making each other smell them as well. After we did that, it's like Gayle and Tony bonded instantly just through candles. We all got at least 3 candles each and like 5 boxes of matches. Tony sweetly bought Gayle the candles as well. She told me she felt really bad. I told her I know how it feels, but not to feel bad. We then headed home after our candle enlightenment you could call it.

~at home again~

"BOYS! COME DOWN HERE!" I yell as I open the door. They all fumble towards the doorway and stand slightly confused. Gayle looked slightly intimidated. I mean yeah I would be too. Jaime started talking to her. Vic was asking Tony who Gayle was and stuff. Mike was asking me stuff about her. He thinks I like her a lot. It's kinda weird how much he's fangirling over us. He whispers to me..
"Are yall two.." I start blushing. I don't know? I wouldn't know. I mean I think she's kinda cute I guess? I haven't known her for long enough, I literally just met her. But I do think she's absolutely gorgeous. I know a pretty girl when I see one. I guess I'll find out later..
