"good morning west morris high school, i hope everyone is having a wonderful wednesday! today i have some important news, our girls volleyball team won last night against the eagles! the varsity coach, coach greene would like to give recognition to the star players of last nights game. brooke foster, chloe rooke, and last but not least, cindy kimberly!-"

i blocked out the rest of the announcements, a huge smile broke out on my face. i thought i played like shit last night, my sets were off and my passing was iffy. i guess my coach thought i played good though.

i then heard my phone buzz, a snapchat notification. knowing im not allowed to go on my phone, i nonchalantly picked it up and held it under the desk.

'snapchat from daddy dolan' appeared on my lockscreen.

i immediately went on snapchat to check what ethan sent me. fuck, it's a video. how am i gonna play this?

i turned the volume up to 1, and held the speaker close to my ear.

"-and last but not least, cindy kimberly!" the video played. the camera then turned around to ethan's face, "that's my best friend!" he exclaimed.

i took a picture of myself holding up 1/2 of a heart with my hand, i captioned the picture 'love u e :)' and sent it.

"ms. kimberly!" my teacher suddenly called my name.

fuck.

"bring your phone up to my desk please."

i rolled my eyes, of course this is the one time she's actually paying attention to me. i got up from my seat and trudged to the front of the classroom, placing my phone on her desk. she grabbed my phone and put it in a drawer, then flashed me an evil smile.

"i shall return this to you at the end of class." she said.

"yay, can't wait." i responded back, sarcasm lacing my voice.

she gave me a rude smile, and i walked back to my seat.

after the announcements ended, ms. pierce began to go on her computer. i looked around the classroom and saw literally everyone on their phone, just hiding it under their desks.

i rolled my eyes and looked up at the ceiling, god damn this is so boring...

after about 10 minutes or so of just staring into space, class finally started.

"okay everybody, today we're going to be watching a video over the rules of contracts. some things this video will contain are how to sign a contract, what happens if you break a contract, different types of contracts, etc."

jesus kill me.

12:30PM, lunch

finally, time for lunch.

thankfully, i have lunch with the twins and alexis. almost everyday we go off campus to eat, and today is one of those days.

"where do you guys want to eat?" alexis asked.

"hmmm-" i thought for a second, "raising canes."
