《 ELEVEN

CHEN MEI XING

i looked at justin, my mouth shaped an 'o'. i blink, not believing what he just said.

"are- are you serious?" the excitement in me jumping out before i realized that he left me.

"yes, i am." justin- i mean minghao, gave me a small grin, jinghua watched the small scene with a grin.

"why in fucking hell did you leave? why did you have to hide it from me?!" i jumped off of the bed and stood before them. my anger increasing as they gave me looks of shock. i didn't realize i was clenching my fists until i unraveled them and saw crescent moons.

"answer me. i deserve an explanation, i don't want to be left in the dark!" my voice grows louder, the lump in my throat gets bigger.

"i didn't wanna tell you, i had to tell you who i really was in the right time!" he shouts back, jinghua gets off my bed and stands in between us.

i push her out of the way, causing her to drop to the ground, "i had the right to know! i've been told multiple times that i was stupid for not remembering anything," my voice quavers, afraid that the tears would start to pour out. but it was too late, a single tear dropped from my eye.

"it wasn't like it was my fault that i couldn't remember anything." i sob, my tears dripping down from my cheeks as i repeatedly punched him on the chest.

"you're the reason to blame! you're the reason why i've been so miserable." jinghua comes from behind, patting my back as i expressed my feelings.

i feel his hands come in contact with my head, he pushed it closer to his chest and embraced me. i wail, "you had the choice to stay, you had the choice not to lie about your appearance." my voice goes quiet, only my sons were heard.

i feel his chin on my head, "i didn't have a choice." his voice barely a whisper.

"you stupid fuck, everyone has a choice! you didn't need to lie to me. you didn't need to leave. i don't know what to call you anymore, is it minghao or justin?"

i crumble to the ground, jinghua's hands catching me. "mei, you have to understand. he wasn't given a choice." jinghua's voice made its way to my ears.

"well, i don't." my voice sounded cold, it wasn't meant to sound like that. i buried my face into the palms of my hand.

i knew that the two were still there, jinghua's arms are wrapped around me while jus- minghao was towering over me, looking at my frail figure.

after a couple minutes of the tension between me and minghao, i looked up from the palms of my hand. "i'll see you two at school." my voice, emotionless and cold, i pushed myself off the ground, i walked into the bathroom and closed the door.

i press my ear against the wooden door and heard them murmur to each other.

"she hates me." minghao's voice said, my heart breaks. i fell to the ground, crying my eyes out. why couldn't i have just swallowed my pride and accept that he had no choice.

HUANG MINGHAO

i walked out of her house with jinghua, feeling miserable with the outcome. i walked away from jinghua without bidding her goodbye.

i entered my house, walking into my room. "why am i such an idiot?" i looked at my reflection. why couldn't have i told her that i was minghao? i had a choice there.

i looked at the picture of the two of us as kids, i smiled. i love her, ever since we were children. it was something about her short temper and her stubbornness that i love. i can't explain the feeling i get when i'm around her.

it's like i'm floating, i feel more like minghao, the kid who grew up in china, then justin, the famous movie and tv star.

it breaks my heart to know that i was the cause of her tears today, if only i told her earlier.

an: i finally updated! i've been on a mini hiatus since i couldn't really think of how to continue this story smoothly. this is a filler chapter since i just wanted to update and get the story moving.
