Chapter 9: Break up

Felix mom: Felix is getting married...
My heart shattered
Y/n: t-to who?
Felix mom: Nancy
Felix: WHAT!!!! I AM NOT MARRYING NANCY!!!! NO WAY.....
Felix mom: yes you are Felix
I just sat there. My mind was blank
Mom: are you ok, y/n?
I ignored her. I have to break up with Felix just for a stupid arranged marriage!!!!
Felix: I AM NOT MARRYING NANCY
He walked up to me and hugged me. I hugged him back and whispered in his ear
Y/n: Felix....you'll have to marry her.
My voice was shaky but I tried to stay strong.
Felix: no...I'm not letting you go
Felix mom: let go Felix! You have to break up!!!
Felix turned to his mom with a look of pure disgust
Felix: I.SAID.NO
His mom pulled his hand and tried to walk out of the door
Felix: why? Why mom!? You're always trying to make me suffer!!!! WHY?!?
Felix mom: I'm doing this for you!!!
Felix: if you care for me the you would let me stay with y/n!!!
Felix mom: that's enough!
She dragged him and out and Felix looked at me for the last time, tears dripping down his face. Then his mom stepped back in.
Felix mom: there will be cameras at school, if I see you and Felix hanging out then....
She walked out and shut the door. I sat helplessly. I don't know what to do.
Mom: y/n-
Y/n: save it!
I ran out of the house to the park.

~chan pov~

Chan: I'll follow her
I followed y/n to the park and saw her sitting on a bench hugging her knees. I walked up to her and sat down on the bench.
Chan: y/n...
She looked up and smiled. I know that smile is a pained one though. I hugged her and she hugged me back.
Chan: don't worry y/n!!!
She nodded slowly
Chan: do you want to get ice cream?
Her face lit up.
Y/n: yeahhhh!!!
She jumped up excitedly and pulled my hand.
Y/n: I know a good ice cream place. Let's gooo

~y/n pov~

We walked into the shop and my mouth starting watering from all the delicious flavours.
Chan: what would you like, me lady
I burst out laughing
Y/n: I would like a mint choc-chip, sire
Chan: of course, me lady
We burst out laughing and walked to the counter.
Lady: hello! What would you like?
Chan: can we have a vanilla for me, and a mint choc-chip for, me lady
I laughed again
Lady: ok! You two are a very cute couple
Me and Chan both stopped laughing and blushed
Y/n: w-we aren't a couple!
Chan: y-yeah!
Lady: oh, that's a shame!
We nodded our head slowly and grabbed our ice cream.
We sat down and a memory flashed up inside my head.

Chan: why?!

Chan: fine!!! but since it's my 16th b'day next week you have to treat me!
I nodded excitedly. We walked up to an ice cream shop and ordered our flavours.
After that we sat on the bench. I was eating my ice cream but I felt a pair of eyes on me. I looked over at Chan and caught him staring at me. He quickly looked away and blushed. I chuckled.
Y/n: is Channie embarrassed?!
I laughed and continued eating my ice cream
Chan: y/n, look at me!
I looked at him and he wiped some ice cream of my nose. I blushed.
Chan: now whose blushing?!
He smirked
Y/n: whatever
I finished my ice cream and looked at the park.
Y/n: it's pretty here, right?
Chan nodded
Chan: *whisper* not as pretty as you
Y/n: sorry?
Chan: nothing... y/n?
Y/n: yeah?
Chan: will...you...

Chan was trying to find the right words
Chan: will you be my girlfriend?

We went out for one year...but then the accident happened.

y/n: jeongin? How did you get in here?
Jeongin: you're mom hired me as your personal alarm
I laughed
Y/n: very well, I'll be out in 10 mins
He nodded and dashed out

I got ready for school and headed downstairs.
Y/n: I'm ready!
Tzuyu: come on y/n!!!!
She held my hand and we to school. With every step I took, I got more nervous.
As we stepped into the building, people started whispering.
Students: I heard about what happened between y/n and Felix!

Students: why Nancy tho?

On the way to class Felix and Nancy passed us.
Stay calm y/n!!!! Just act like you don't know him, right? Everyone looked at us. We walked passed each other not looking. We acted like we didn't know each other. My heart broke but it's for the best. As he passed Nancy kissed him on the cheek and my tears started to form.
Felix: leave me alone Nancy!?
Nancy whispered something into his ear and his eyes widened. He looked at Nancy with pure disgust and walked on quickly.

I headed to my desk and got my books out. I felt a presence near me and looked up.
Y/n: Daniel!!!!
I hugged him
Daniel: never knew you'd be this excited to see me!!! I mean, I know I'm popula-
Y/n: don't be so cocky!!!
He stopped what he was doing and slowly turned to face me with a shocked expression. I laughed at his reaction
Daniel: I'm sorry...what?
Y/n: I said...Don't.Be.So.Cocky
Daniel: hey!!!
Teacher: Y/N AND DANIEL!!!!
We both looked up.
Teacher: Stop flirting!!!!
We both widened our eyes and blushed.
Irene: why are you blushing? Haven't you guys already gone out before?
Students: y/n and Daniel dated?
Students: ooh~
They all cooed at us and I sat there blushing.
Teacher: sweet....but we need to get on with the class....
We all nodded and continued to work.

Teacher: you will need to work in partners for the presentation
Everyone cheered.
Teacher: I will choose the partners.
Everyone stopped cheering and pouted
Students: awww, why?
Teacher: because I said so....
She listed out the names.
Teacher:......Nancy and Chan, and finally Y/n and Felix.
Everyone's eyes widened but mine and Felix's were the widest
Nancy: but...miss-
Teacher: no buts!
I slowly looked over at Chan and he was already looking at me. Tears started to appear in my eyes. Chan mouthed 'it's ok, I'm here'. I smiled. What did I do to deserve Chan?

Teacher: class dismissed!
Everyone rushed out with their partners.
Chan: do you guys wanna come round to my house. I mean we can sorta work together but just in our pairs.
I quickly nodded and grabbed my stuff and walked out the class.
Everyone followed me.
Irene: how come you know where Chan's house is?
Y/n: who, me?
Daniel: yeah, you....
Everyone laughed and I blushed.
Y/n: hey, it's not funny! I know where his house is....because I'm his best friend
They all nodded
Y/n: ok, let's go!!!
I walked quickly to his house to avoid Felix and Nancy. Not that I hate Felix!!! No, I still love him, it's just that, his mom....I hate her...
I felt someone walking beside me and looked up. I smiled.
Y/n: hi Dimples
Chan: hi Dimples Jr. Have any ideas for the project?
Y/n: yeah-but I'm not telling you!!!
He put his hands up in defeat. I laughed but I walked into a lamppost and fell on top of something...more like someone.
I opened my eyes one at a time and saw Chan underneath me blushing like a tomato. I also felt the heat rise to my cheeks. I stared into his eyes and realised how handsome he really his.
I snapped back to reality and got up. I helped Chan up.
Y/n: ahem...s-sorry about t-that....
Chan: n-no problem
We looked at the others that were smirking at us except for Felix and Nancy.
Nancy: ugh! You two are gross
She looked at us disgusted
Y/n: you're face is gross
I stuck my tongue out at her and she got really pissed and was about to slap me but I caught her arm.
Y/n: don't you dare try to hurt me, you're just gonna end up being hurt!
I smirked
Daniel: there's the y/n I know!!!
Y/n: I'm tired of holding myself back to you Nancy! Next time you say anything to me I'm gonna blow!!! Mark.My.Words.
I turned around and walked to Chan's house like nothing happened.
Everyone was stunned except Daniel. They all turned to face him with a questioning look.
Daniel: she used to be a bad girl. I mean she never played with any boys hearts.
As he said that he looked at Nancy
Daniel: she only loved 3 men in her life...
Irene: they were....
Daniel: me, Lucas and Felix
Felix: 4 people, actually...
Daniel: eh? What do you mean
Felix: well...when I first saw y/n, I asked her to go out to the park with me....and I asked her if something was wrong because she looked troubled. She said that she had two crushes and she didn't know what to do.
