Over the course of the next few weeks. Finland had discovered that the Vinland twins knew a vast amount of the Scandinavian languages. Though they seemed to favor Swedish.
They also had a bit of trouble when it came to modern day appliances...
"Äiti! Far! Hjälp mig, det brinner!" "Mom! Dad! Help me, it's burning!" Shrieked the small child. Finland struggled to wipe Hauk's eyes with a cloth as he thrashed in the water.
"Hauk, lugna ner dig! Det är bara tvål!" "Hauk, calm down! It's just soap!" Still the boy protested and rubbed at his eyes. Bath water splashed out of the tub and soaked the Fin's shirt. Sweden crouched down and tried his best to calm the young nation down. Bjørn stood behind the door, glaring at the bathtub.
"Dumt badkar..." "Stupid bathtub..." he muttered. Finland looked over his shoulder to the glaring twin.
"Oroa dig inte, Bjørn, du är nästa!" "Do not worry, Bjørn, you're next!" The violet eyed nation's eyes widened and he bolted from the door. Finland gasped.
"Eh?... What is up with you two and bath time!!??"

Europe and Asia were in a panic. They were missing four personifications! Three of which were of great importance. The meeting was in a riot. Not even Germany was able to calm them down. To be honest, he was freaking out too. Suddenly, a large voice cut in.
"ALRIGHT!" Heads turned to see Denmark standing with his hands on the table. A wild yet angered look in his eyes. No one dared spoke. "Alright, we need to settle this! Think reasonably! We already know what happened to America and Canada. Maybe Finland is sick or something and Sweden had to tend to him." Towards the end, Denmark's voice took on a sad tone.
People started murmuring. Some debating the idea, others kept casting glances at the angry Dane. Norway was one of these people. He constantly sent suspicious glares at the nation as Romania chatted away beside him.
The door opened and Sweden walked in. Silence inveloped the room. All eyes were on the tall nation who was extremely uncomfortable with being the center of attention. Sweden took his seat. Norway looked him straight in the eye. As the Norwegian looked deeper into the somewhat emotionless sea foam green eyes, he started to see something. Happiness. Now what in Thor's name had him in such a good mood if Finland wasn't here?
"Where is Finland?" Denmark asked. Sweden turned to him.
"Vit vita hvert þær eru." "We know where they are." Sweden said, his voice letting on a glimmer of happiness. Denmark quinted.
"Hvert ær ir?" "Where who is?" Sweden seemed to crack a small smile, though you'd have to look hard. His answer was simple.
"Bjørn and Hauk." Norway slammed his hands down on the desk and stood up, teeth barred.
"Don't fuck with me, Sweden!" He growled. "Bjørn and Hauk are dead. They have been for a long time." Sweden growled back.
"You kn'w I w'uld n'v'r toy ar'ud with someth'ng like th's!" He shot back. He was angry to say the least, Denmark could tell since his accent slurred even more than usual.
"Ve~ I think you should calm down, Mr. Norway." Italy patted Norway's shoulder reassuringly. Sighing, Norway sat down. But, not before glaring once more at the Swede. Denmark sat down as well.
Germany stood and started the meeting, rambling on about something Denmark really couldn't bring himself to care about. Instead, he leaned over to Sweden, who sat next to him. "Hittade du verkligen dem?" "Did you really find them?" Sweden nodded.
"Ja." "Yes." Denmark leaned closer.
"Är de samma som..." "Are they the same as..." Sweden was silent for a moment before shaking his head.
"Nej. Bjørn är inte längre den lyckliga pojken vi är vana vid. Han kämpar och verkar arg. Hauk är klumpig, som om han blinkar felaktigt, kommer vi att försvinna!" "No. Bjørn is no longer the happy boy we are used to. He fights and acts angry. Hauk is clingy, like if he blinks wrongly, we will disappear!" Denmark let of a sad 'oh' and went silent. He leaned back into his own chair.
The meeting ended unsuccessfully, just as it did every time. Denmark followed Sweden out. "So, what are they like?" Sweden thought.
"Well, Hauk is lively and always full of energy. I don't think he sleeps well though. Bjørn on the other hand," he ran a hand through his hair. "He's something else. Always glaring and brooding and pushing us away. I feel like its my fault he's like that." Denmark gave him a 'you've got me there' look.
"Well, ya can't help genes, Sve!" Denmark laughed. Sweden glared at him.
"Shut up, Dan."

The house was quiet when Sweden walked through the door. He waited for someone to run to the door and greet him but no one did. Sweden frowned. There wasn't a sound. Not even the wall clock's constant ticking.
Wait! Where was the wall clock?
It seemed to have been taken off the wall roughly, the nail was bent and crooked. Something in Sweden's chest started to hurt. Like dread, but times 100. "Bjørn? Hauk? Fin, jag är hemma!" "Bjørn? Hauk? Fin, I'm home!" No response.
The feeling tightened. He started up the stairs at a calm pace and peeked into each room he passed. No. No. No. No. Wait! Sweden listened closely.
A small sound coming from the next room across the hall. It sounded like someone winding something or tightening a bolt. He furrowed his brow and stalked to the door. The door opened slowly and nearly soundlessly. Sweden peeked his head in.
Hauk sat on the hardwood floor, his legs loosely crossed. Clock parts were scattered in a chaotic pattern around him. The child hummed a peaceful tune as he winded a gear slowly into the right spot, completely oblivious to his father standing in the door way.
His bright blue eyes were wide with wonder. Hauk ran a hand through his jet black hair and looked around at the pieces. The child picked up a small gear and looked to the door, just now noticing it open. He smiled.
"Hej, Far!" Hauk greeted, grinning ear to ear. "Jag är så glad att jag hittade den här! Det skulle inte sluta göra det hemska ljudet!" "I am so glad I found this! It wouldn't stop making that horrible noise!"
Sweden blinked as Hauk inserted another gear and winded it into place. "Vet du var din Mor och bror är?" "Do you know where your Mother and brother are?"
Hauk nodded and pointed in the direction of the small library down the hall. "Japp! Över i rummet med böcker!" "Yep! Over in the room with books!" Sweden thanked him and left. Hauk was still humming happily.
Lets just say the situation looked very calm. Looked very calm. If you were to look closer, you'd see that Finland was ready to bash his own head against something. Bjørn on the other hand, looked like he had just accomplished the greatest thing ever. The boy was smirking ear to ear.
Sweden felt his eye twitch. What did he get himself into. Finland groaned. "He won't listen to anything I say! I don't know how we're going to deal with them next month!"
At Sweden's confused look, he added. "Did you forget the meeting next month?"
No response. Finland sighed. "Great."
