(1 year and 2 months ago)"What?! I'm happy for you, man! Don't forget, I should be the bestman."
He gave him a sad and disappointed look. "It's an arranged marriage, Ian. And once I get married, I have to let go everything; dancing and choreographing. And I have to stick my butt on helping dad manage the business."
"Oh, I'm sorry man. But do you really have to just give up everything? Didn't you plan to fly to Atlanta next month to teach?"
"I cancelled it. Next month, I have to prepare for that freaking wedding."
Ian patted his shoulder. "I feel bad about it. You're on your way up to your dreams. But don't worry you know, things happen for a reason. I'm sure that something good might happen."
He just smiled at him. It's impossible for something good to happen. His dream of being a great choreographer someday just came into an end.
His phone rang and it's a call from his Mom. He excused himself before picking it up.
"Sean! Where are you? Meeting with the Rice's would be at 5pm and it's 4:30!"
He rolled his eyes "I'll be there."
"You know that your Dad would be so pissed off once you came late."
He was on his way to the meeting place. He arrived at 5pm. There, he met Mr. And Mrs. Rice but their daughter wasn't there.
"I'm really sorry if Kaycee is still not here. We had a little misunderstanding this morning then she went away, we don't know where to find her." Laura apologized for the 8th time but his mom and dad said that they totally understand. But he was really disappointed because that just means they had to set another schedule for the meeting about the freaking wedding ceremony.
Really annoyed, he decided to visit the dance studio for the last time because he'd probably forget everything about dance once he gets married. The owner of the studio knows him and he uses the studio every weekdays but today is Saturday.
"Seanie! What brings you here? It's Saturday." Fred said, giving him a bro hug.
"Nothing, I just want to visit the studio for the last time."
"For the last time? Are you leaving?"
He shook his head and explained everything.
"I don't know if I should be happy that you're getting married or not because you're letting go of your biggest dream. But if you changed your mind and think still think about using the studio, never hesitate. Here's a spare key in case I'm not present to open the studio for you."
"Thank you man, but I don't think I would anymore."
"Well, no one knows but take it still. Think of it as my wedding gift."
He shook his head, smiling. "Thanks Fred."
"By the way, I don't think you could use the studio right now. Someone's using it. She also rents this studio every weekend, so."
"Oh, no. I'm not using it. Maybe I'll just give it a glance. You know, this studio became a huge part of my life."
He was on his way to the studio when he heard muffled music.
I'm alone but I'm not lonely
Comfortably indulging
And trying to get to know me
I'm just an outline of what I used to be
