Bayley's POV

"Lex, where are you?" I ask, holding my phone against my ear in the freezing January wind.

"Raincheck? I am caught up with something. I promise, I am all yours tomorrow." She says in a rush.

"Sure. See ya." I mutter and hang up and place my phone in my coat pocket.

I sigh and walk into the park alone. Lex and I were supposed to have a girls day today, just to talk about everything going on. But apparently, she's too busy doing who knows what.

I buy myself hot chocolate and continue strolling around. Obviously I am stopped by numerous fans to take a selfie or sign an autograph, but I don't mind.

While I am walking, I hear someone calling me. I turn around and see Dolph running towards me.

"Oh, hey Dolph." I say and offer him a small wave.

"Hi Bayley, are you feeling better? I heard that you missed Raw." He asks concerned and I avert his gaze.

The day after my terrible hangover, I was forced to go to the medical team. They obviously didn't pick up something strange and just labeled it as a once off. They even made me take a pregnancy test. It was negative, obviously.

"Yeah, everything is fine. It was just a small thing. Nothing major." I say and wave it off.

"That's good to hear. How's the wedding planning?" He asks as he fully falls into step with me.

My stomach turns and I feel a bit antsy. Finn and may have patched things up between us, but that doesn't change the fact that Finn along with two of my best friends, think that I not ready.

I mean, we are young and there is no rush. I want to marry Finn. I can't believe that they have been conspiring about it behind my back.

"It is complicated." I mutter, avoiding his eyes.

"Why, what's wrong?" He asks and I cast him an uncertain look. He seems to be picking up on my look and sighs

"I know that we aren't like friends, but I can see that you need an outlet. Or just someone to talk to who isn't Finn or Alexa." He says and I sigh half in relief.

"I guess you're right." I say and retell the past few days events to him. Just ommiting the whole drinking part.

"Do you feel ready?" He asks me. "And don't give me the answer that you've been telling Finn, Alexa, AJ or even yourself. Just speak from your heart."

I stay quiet for a few moments as we're walking, while I am trying to formulate an accurate answer. Or maybe just an honest one.

"This stays between us, right?" I prompt and he nods.

"Of course."

"Well, to be honest, when Finn proposed, I didn't expect it. We aren't even dating for a full year and we are already getting married. I have no doubt that I love Finn, but I just feel like we should push the brakes for a bit.'" I tell him, finally saying how I really feel.

"Did you tell him that?" He asks.

"No and I am not going to. I'm not giving Finn's mother more ammunition to use against me. And most importantly, I don't want to disappoint Finn." I answer.

"You should think about what's best for you, Bayley. No one else." Dolph says sincerely.

"I know, but if I am not prepared to sacrifice for Finn, what am I even doing?"

"Finn should sacrifice for you too. From my point of view it seems like you are putting all the work in. You apologized for what they said about you. You need to take a step back and decide if this is really what you want..." He trails off, leaving me in silence with my thoughts.
