(a/n) yayy part 2 is here!!

Faye and Giovanni were taking their starting positions. Joe a as watching them with delight in his eyes. Dianne was excited, but scared. And more than anything, curious.

What was it that Joe wanted to tell her?

Before they knew it, the pair was taking their places.

"And dancing the frightful foxtrot is Joe Sugg and partner, Dianne bewitched Buswell"

Dianne had to struggle not to laugh at strictly's poor excuse for a joke and she looked around, just as they rehearsed as the beginning lines of the song began to play.

Joe span around the seat when was in.

"Remember when you told me, "love me till the day I die" surrender my everything 'cause you made me believe you're mine.
Yeah, you used to call me baby, now you're calling my by name. Takes one to know one, yeah, you beat me at my own damn game."

The rest of the dance was a blur to the both of them. They danced around the floor with passion and Joe didn't make one mistake.

"Youngblood say you want me, say you want me out of your life.
And I'm just a dead man walking tonight."

They ended in the place they started. They had nailed it!

The pair shared a hug before walking over to Tess and the judges.

The judges gave them the most amazing feedback
"We might even see you in the final!"

And Shirley and Bruno fought to give him a hug. But Joe and Dianne just stood together, unable to take any of it in.

"A score of 35!!"

Joe's pov

I was so happy with the results!!
It was the best score we've gotten so far, Dianne looked extremely happy too. But there was just a hint of...fright? In her eyes.

No, it couldn't be.
But it was. It so obviously was.

Every couple had a small break after they had found out their scores and danced.

We were back in the star room for a break.

"Di, are you okay?" I ask "you've been a bit off for a while."

She looked startled "yes, I'm fine!" She tried to change the subject "what were you saying before we had to go on stage?"

I went pale. Oh. that.

Oh that thing that I was so nervous about telling her.

Come on Joe. Excuse!! Think of an excuse!!

"I don't know what you're talking about" I say, turning away.

She laughed. "I can see right through you, Joe. What was it?" She repeated.

"Seriously, Di, I don't know what you're talking about" I say, laughing, begging for a reason to end the conversation.

By pure luck, my phone began to ring. I gave Dianne an apologetic look and stepped outside to answer.

Third persons pov

"Sup, bro!" A voice with a strong accent came from the phone.

"Sup, Byron, what's up?" Answered Joe.

"Oh nothing...I was just wondering wether you had told her yet."

"Told who what exactly?"

Joe had pressed speaker. But, somehow, somehow he didn't notice.

"Told Dianne that you like her, of course!"

At hearing her name, Dianne pressed her ear against the door. Just for a listen.

"No! Byron, come on. Think! Realistically, someone like her could never like someone like me!"

Diannes jaw dropped. "He likes me?" She thought.

"Dude, honestly you should just go for it. I mean, what's the worst that could happen?"

"I mean, embarrassment, humiliation, and possibly the loss of one of the best friendships I've ever had"

Byron was quiet for a moment.

Joe looked down at his phone.
"Oh shit!" He turned off speaker.

"Byron? You still there?"

"Yeah, buddy, I have to go- just tell her how you feel!"

"No chance. Bye!"Joe hung up.

Dianne had listened to every word.

She jumped away from the door and onto the couch, falling off in the process.

"Di? Di, you okay? Said Joe, walking in again.

"Yes, yes I'm fine!" Dianne said, hastily trying to get up but keeping getting stuck on her dress.

"Here, here let me help you." Joe said, grabbing her hand and hauling her up a little too hard.

If anyone was to walk in on that scene. Well, they would have seen Joe and Dianne practically nose to nose. And hands clasped together.

What would happen now?

(a/n) ooohh that was a shite chapter but eh. See you later tomorrow!
