Hello everyone, it's me Remy and welcome to chapter thirty-nine! Enjoy
\(^.^)/

•Lauren's POV•
I hear the music playing and take a long, deep breath out before slowly walking down the aisle. Scott is standing at the end, looking handsome and smiling widely. I can't stop the smile from spreading across my face as I look up at him and we make slight eye-contact.

I catch a glimpse of Cole in my mom's arms in the front row. I stand across from Scott and look at him lovingly, he returns the look. "We are gathered here today to celebrate one of life's greatest moments, and to cherish the words which shall unite Lauren and Scott in marriage." The priest starts.

"Marriage is the promise between two people who love each other and who trust in that love, who honour each other as individuals and who chose to spend the rest of their lives together." He continues. "This ceremony will not create a relationship that does not already exist between you. It is a symbol of how far you have come these past few years." The priest adds.

"It is a symbol of the promises you will make to each other to continue growing stronger as individuals and as partners. No matter what challenges you face, you now face them together. No matter how much you succeed, you now succeed together. The love between you joins you now as one." He says. My eyes start to well up with tears, happy tears.

"The bride and groom have chosen to prepare their own vows." The priest adds. He nods to Scott and Scott pulls a small folded up piece of paper out of his pocket. He unfolds it and takes a deep breath out before he starts reading it.

"Lauren, you are the love of my life. Something I thought I would never find until I found you. You are my everything, I'm nothing without you. I promise you that I will love you unconditionally, care for you, be there for you, give you my all, give you a shoulder to cry on, help you when you need it, never ever leave you alone in the dark and I promise that I will take care of our son and any other children to come with my everything, no matter what. Words can't do justice of how much I love you. Nothing and nobody can stop us from loving each other." Scott says.

Tears slowly fall from my eyes as I think about what Scott just said to me. I truly think about what he's written and what he meant when he said those words. "Lauren, your vows." The priest says quietly. I nod and Lizzie passes me a small piece of paper. I quickly look over my writing before I read it to everyone in the room.

"Scott, you are my saviour. Without you, I probably wouldn't be standing here today. I was in a dark place, I hit rock bottom but you yanked me right back up again. I never saw you as more than just a friend for a long time until I realised that you are so much more than just a friend to me. You are my soulmate, the person I'm destined to be with, the father of my son and hopefully more children to come in the future. I promise to love and care for you with everything I have. I love you more than I ever thought I could ever love anything until I found you." I say with tears in my eyes.

I see Scott's eyes fill with tears but I smile at him reassuringly. He smiles back. "I now pronounce you husband and wife." The priest says happily. "You may kiss the bride." He smiles. Scott pulls me close to him and gently presses his lips against mine. I throw my arms around his neck and one of his hands land on my waist, the other cupping my face.
