Chapter 30 - Bite Me

•Lauren's POV•
We're having none of that!" Yammy says loudly before stomping over to me and shaking me rather wildly. "Fine. I'm up." I say grumpily. I rub my eyes and look around. Scott is sitting up next to me with wide eyes and a bad bed head. The room is decorated with turquoise and purple decorations and a there's a big sign that says 'Welcome Back!' on the wall opposite the bed.

"When did you guys have the time to do this?!" Scott asks, his eyes still wide. "We did it this morning." Joel answers. "You guys are cleaning this up, just by the way." I say. Scott nods and lies back down, I join him. "Unleash the dog!" Oli yells. "On it." Callum says.

Dexter comes running in and starts licking my face. "Dexter. Down boy." I say. He listens to me and lies down on the bed. "Good boy!" I say and pat him. He wags his tail and the others look at me in amazement. "When did you teach him to do that?!" Kyle asks. "A whole ago." I say. "Well, I'm going back to sleep now. Night everyone." I tell them.

"No you aren't!" Oli yells. "Bite me." I say and cuddle up next to Scott. "Awww! You guys are such a cute couple!" Lizzie squeals. Scott kisses me on the cheek and I blush lightly. I close my eyes and I hear the others exit the room. They're probably planning something to wake us up again. I drift off to sleep quickly.

I wake up again to the smell of pancakes. I look around to see Scott isn't in the room and the decorations are still up. I follow the smell to the kitchen, forgetting the others are here. I get slightly startled when I see Yammy and Lizzie making pancakes and the others sitting around the table.

"Morning, Sumshine." Callum says. I don't see Scott in here. I get a bit worried and decide to ask them. "Morning, where's Scott?" I ask. "We thought he was with you." Kyle says. "I thought he was with you." I say. I start to panic a little but calm myself down and start looking around the house.

I walk around the house, searching the rooms for Scott until I have an idea of where he might be. I walk into the bathroom and sure enough, there's Scott. I walk up behind him. "You scared me." I say, letting out a sigh of relief. "How, exactly?" Scott asks, still washing his hands.

"I couldn't find you anywhere." I answer. He laughs softly, turns off the tap and dries his hands before turning around. He places his hands on my hips and he gently puts his lips on my own. It turns into a passionate kiss. He puts his hands in my hair and tugs at it, lightly. "I will never unsee this..." Oli says.

Scott and I pull away to see Oli standing at the door, his brown eyes wide open. "I'll be leaving now. Join us when you're finished with.... that." He says before quickly going back to the kitchen. Scott and I burst out in laughter and walk back to the kitchen together.

When we walk in Oli glares at us and everyone else tells us to take a seat. Scott and I sit down next to each other. I can feel his hand on my leg and I slap it off, lightly. "Not the time, Scott." I say out loud. Scott's cheeks turn a light shade of pink. We get looks from all around the table but I ignore them. "Ew..." Oli mumbles. I try to contain my laughter but fail and laugh loudly, everyone except Oli joins me in laughter.
