All he saw was darkness yet he felt as though he had his whole life drained out of him. Was he really dead? Is that what had happened? Whatever had happened made him feel cold and weak. He didn't like it one bit. His memories were blurred but he remembered names like Rin, Whirlpool, Darkwind, and Kaito. Wait, Kaito was more than familar to him. He remembered what had happened! Kaito, his twin, was overwhelmed with power who had turned himself into the angel of death and tried to kill everyone. He had shot a beam of light and burned off his left arm than sent hundreds if not thousands of arrows to kill him yet he survived. He had used the Fist of Twilight at the same moment when he had used the Fist of Dawn and when the two collided, god must have took notice of this violent and murderous move and sent them flying in opposite directions. If not than countless people would've been killed. He remembered how a beam of twilight and light had crossed and burned a hole in both him and Kaito. Pain too much to imagine. He regretted that move and wished he had blocked it instead. The darkness slowly disappeared and he realized his eyes were open. His eyes adjusted and he glanced around. He was in a strange white room with tools. He sat up but took notice of his left arm. It wasn't a normal arm but a robotic arm. He opened and closed his hand a few times, seeing if he was dreaming. His bare chest has been bandaged up and some parts of his legs. He felt sticky around his face but he didn't understand why. He gently wiped the corner of his mouth with his finger tips and gazed at it. Blood. Did he loose control again? He sniffed the blood and relaxed a bit, it was his own. He relized his other arm was attached to a thing that looked liked it was full of blood. He sniffed the bloodbag and twitched his ears in surprise. It wasn't his blood but it was simular but it still was human. He growled and yanked the needle out of his arm. At least he remembered how to take a needle out when his friend Minty had showed him. Minty, he had remembered her! He remembered almost everything about her, she was a black cat furry with beautiful deep green eyes and a gentle fingered touch. Whenever she had taken care of him when he broke his arm trying to fly, she carefully felt his arm and than decided how to treat it. He missed her and wished she had been here to treat him again but he knew that was impossible. She had been killed one day when he lost control of his crow form and he had became a monster. He regretted that everyday. He wished it would've been him who had died, not a innocent girl. His friend Rin, who was a red wolf, understood how he had felt and went with him on a journey. He glanced at the blood bag again and sighed. Before he could remember anything else, the door opened and a girl with blonde hair and deep blue eyes walked in. “ Your awake! Thank god for that, we thought that you would've died!” She exclaimed. He stared at her and than felt embarrassment growing inside him. “Look uh… I don't wanna be rude but your outfit is kinda…. disturbing,” he said nervously, hoping he didn't insult her. She wore a white shirt and shorts but the top of her breasts showed. “ Im sorry… It's my uniform and I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable,” she said looking upset. Her eyes watered and it was as if she was sad over a little mistake. “ Look I'm sorry! Please don't cry! I wasn't trying to be judgy or anything, it's just I'm not used to seeing girls dress like that,” he said frantically, feeling his face turning red. She calmed down but still sounded hurt “ It's fine, I'll just have to report you in for making me feel sad,” she said with a wink. “Please don't do that! I uh- he began, his face hot with embarassment. “ Don't worry, I'll tell all the girl nurses to stay away from you, bad boy, because you hurt lil old me feelings,” she said with a evil grin on her face. “ Please don't! I don't… wait a minuet! Your playing a trick on me,” he said, crossing his arms. She chuckled and leaned against the wall. “ My name is Alice, next time you need someone to pull your strings , just insult a another nurse,” she said, giving him a another wink as she exited the room. He stared at her as she walked down the hallway. Another painful memory came to him, the siren girl he loved, Whirlpool, behaved the same way. Except the time she acted strangely were she avoided swimmimg, not sing, and disapeared. He hasn't seen her since and guessed she probably moved on or Kaito must have killed her. He didn't really know so he waited but she never reappeared. He closed his eyes humming a song his father, Darkwind, had sang to him. He sang to himself after a small moment of boredom” Wings of flight soaring into the endless height. Smile of hope bringing peace by the grip of a rope. Starry wings , unlike any that a mortal had seen. Voice of a moon beam , gentle as it gleams. He will return to the earth beneath. He will choose his pure blood ones and lead them into the night sky. He is the spirit of dreams.” The song was a old legend of time but it was still consider one of his favorites. Without realization, someone familar came in. He had dark brown hair and wore a lab coat. “ Hello Ari, I'm going to be the one examine your health. First of all, do you remember who am I?” Ari knew he knew him from somewhere but couldn't place a finger on it. He sighed than shakes his head no. “ My name is Doctor Mikku Higar, could you step down so we could see if your body has adjusted to the gravity pull. Ari rolled his eyes and stepped off the table. His legs felt shaky at first but he managed to keep himself steady. “ Seems to be doing well, now could you take a few steps forward?”he asked. Ari did as he was told. “ Ok, your moving accurately. Hmm what's next… Aha! We need to do your weight and height next!” said Mikku. Ari felt anger building up inside of him. Who does this guy think he's talking to, Ari thought darkly. He did as he was told but growled at the fact. He stepped on the scale and it changed numbers until it landed on 110 pounds. Mikku stared at it than said” It says your a healthy weight but it seems like your nothing but skin and bones. How odd? It must be broken so lets move on onto the measurement of your height.” Ari knew what was the problem, his wings made him seem about 20 pounds heavier than what he is actually, even when they are not visible. He stood against the wall as he was measured. “Your 5.9 feet tall.” Yea he knew that, he knew it very well. Mikku was getting on his nerves and he already hated him. “ Why do all this pathetic technics?” Ari asked crossing his arms. “ To make sure your healthy,” Mikku said. Right before he could give Mikku a piece of his mind, Alice came in with a tray of food. “ Ari, I brought you something to eat,” she said grining. He glared at her and sighed. He didn't want to declare his title to this weirdo and end up in captivity. Mikku glared at her gently and said “ Alice, you know he is still weak. I don't even think he can control his left arm properly yet.” He felt anger soaring through him like a dragon, familar hatred that onced flooded his soul and killed people he cared for. He clenched his fists and before he could even think, he slammed his metal fist into his head. Mikku, staring blankly and dazed at him as his head dripped blood. “ My name is Prince Ari Kokomaru the first and you should know a thing or two about me. I don't like being called 'weak’ and I certainly don't want to be treated like some old crow,” he growled, glaring at Alice as she stared in horror,” and I certainly don't want to be the beast I once was, I was given a second chance and I got it.” He kicked his stomach and felt the tensess of his muscles ease away. He sat down while he watched Alice run over to her father.
