Will Talks to the Family

Will POV:

I cant believe our mate just ran off like that! Zara was trying to take control, causing me to struggle to keep him from being in control. He'd probably destroy everything in sight. I immediately tried to go after him, but his mother stopped me. 

"No. Just let him cool off for a minute. He'll be back soon."

A low growl came from my throat. "He is our mate. We have to go after him."

"In order for him to trust you, you have to give him some space."

"Fine." His mom smiled at me. Then I remembered about his sisters on the bed. "Hi there," my voice surprisingly sounded kind, rather angry, as it had been only moments before. "What are your names?" 

They looked at each other as if they were having a silent argument. Then, the one with curly brown hair spoke. "My name's Hazel Levesque, and this is my half-sister, Bianca di Angelo. Your 'mate,'" she put the word in air-quotes, "is Nico di Angelo, my half-brother. His mom," she pointed at his mother, "is Maria di Angelo. My mom died, so I live with them."

"And your father?"

"He's with another vampire."

"Oh."

"Yeah. We don't talk about him often.

"Hey, Hazel, where's Nico?" Bianca asked her half-sister.

"Here. Let me check." Hazel replied. She put her hands in front of her and said a few words- a magical chant. She was a witch, I realized. After about a minute, she stopped her chant, leaving her hands in front of her. An image of Nico showed itself. He was laying on the floor, his eyes closed.

"Oh no," Bianca muttered, "the running and the fact that he shifted, plus the fact that its afternoon, with the sun hotter than it is in the morning or night wore him out." Dam, that girl knew a lot.

"Well, Will?" Hazel demanded, letting the image of Nico drop with her hands. "Aren't you going to go save your 'mate?"

"Right. Well, nice meeting you. Bye." I heard the girls' voices bidding me goodbye before I ran out of the house, Maria letting me go. I shifted into my wolf form to find my mate before some other being did. If some other being found him, he was in trouble. Even more so since he was a hybrid. I couldn't let him die. Never in my life could I let my mate die. I ran faster, hoping to find him as quickly as possible.
