"But how can this be possible. He was lost. You were lost in the war."
"No you were the one I watched get blown to pieces. You were the one I grieved over for years."
We had both started crying. This was too much for both of us.
"Wait. Are the children still alive. Is there anyone still alive."
Her blue eyes wonder which means she's unsure to tell me the truth. We were bonded on Gallifrey so I know if she's telling the truth. She is my wife.
"Yes the children survived. No one else did. You wouldn't understand how we escaped. Heck even I don't really understand it. We were saved."
"By who Fern. I love you but I need to know everything. I don't care what you did. Or how you did it. I missed you but I still need to know."
She turns away and crumpled to the floor crying. The tardis hummed sensing her distress.
"The council. They turned me into a weapon. They made me kill. Innocent people. They gave me powers more powerful than you could imagine. I hated every minute but they are worse than we thought...."
