We headed to our bedroom. Locked the door and sat on our bed. This room as soon as I had stepped into it was breathtaking. The walls were black with stars and planets and solar systems. I loved it. There were purples ,blues and any colour you could ever imagine. I look away and at Fern.
"So...the council....what did they do?"
She breathes to calm herself and then with her pail hand she brushes away her hair.
"Doctor they....well....they gave me powers."
I look at her and she matches the stare. She answers the question before I ask.
"Well they gave me control of the weather, they put ultra sensitive sensors so that I would let out an electrical charge like an explosion....."
"Fielarge. Those basta......."
"Doctor don't just don't. They gave me fire,water,air and earth."
"Yeah but they. Well how did they treat you. Like a lab experiment or like a pet or or a weapon."
