Hi Everyone, if you're still with us, its been a year since we've published anything.
This chapter was brought on by accident when myszkin thought she had written an unfinished chapter. Which was last years Halloween chapter. So I asked her to continue writing and create her own version of Halloween event for rusałka Mami. I'll be following on future chapters from this chapter. The one I posted last year, will be just a fun read but a dead end chapter. We've both been busy with our own daily demands, but we hope to continue paint the story forward in the future.
Anyway Happy Halloween and enjoy your read.

Tomomi Speaks.
I always thought that when you're the creature that can easily mix with the danse macabre procession, you aren't afraid of anything. Because, come on, you're a ghost! A spirit of vengeance, you've seen death and laughed her in that bony face of hers, you've fought lost battles and made them victorious. What can Mami be afraid of? Nothing - I said to myself as I pushed play on our dvd player. Nothing!
Well, guess what, right now I know she is afraid of at least 7 things, including clowns and sheep (note to myself - never watch Black Sheep again because Mami shrieks like an old lady whenever she sees a lamb chewing on anything). When we watched Ring or Grudge she just laughed her ass of saying how idiotic people were to even try to mess up with ghosts but the moment she saw some ugly, B-class movie monster that was created from toxic waste, she jumped on my lap and dived under the blanket I was covered with, almost crushing my chest in the process.
Same goes for IT by Stephen King, by now I know she hates that horror with all her guts.
"Mami, you can look now. The clown is gone."
"Nope, you said that the last time and he was there." The blonde moved under the blanket and her bony knee pierced my tight and I suspect it was on purpose. "You lied to me."
"Yeah..." Before I could stop myself I grinned pridefully, it's not every day that you can scare an ancient spirit, you know. I have to give myself some credit for that. "I kind of did. But seriously, this time it is safe to watch."
"Really?" Her shy voice was muffled by all the blanket's layers that were sheltering us from the cold and reality.
"Sure!"
"Ok..." Her blonde head popped from underneath of heavy fabric just in time to see Pennywise trying to scare Beverly in the bathroom. The scene was nasty but I had to laugh the moment Mami's high pitched squeal got into my ears. She hit me on my arm with small force and I am sure that there will be a bruise from that punch. Totally worth it. "You liar! You slimy human, you! You weasel!" She tried to hit me again but I was quick enough to hold her by wrists and prevent another blow.
"Awwww... Sorry! Sorry, Mami. I just couldn't resist."
"Idiot."
"Here, have a candy. It will make you feel better."
"I don't want it."
"Ah, come on. Don't be like that" The water spirit huffed stubbornly, and the blow of warm air dabbed my neck. "Here, it's your favorite. The eyeball candy. Take it and get off of me. It's getting too hot in here."
Her hand quickly snatched the sweet from my palm but other than that - she didn't move an inch, staying there on my lap. If anything, she just got closer.
"Endure it. It's your fault anyway that I'm here. Why couldn't we watch some Planet Earth like we usually do?"
"Because it's Halloween. I wanted to get you in the right mood."
