They drove home, Theo thinking about Liam's feelings for him and his possible feelings back.Liam feeling content and quietly admiring Theo from the passenger seat, spoke up "I'm going to get more candy than you."
Theo raises his eyebrow, "let's make it a challenge. Person who gets the least has to give their candy to the other."
"Fair play," Liam agreed. By the time they arrived home it was dropping dark, so they decided to grab their bags to collect sweets and head out.
"Shall we split up?" Theo asks. "Not yet, later" Liam replied remembering his fear of the dark. Which was silly since now they couldn't really do the challenge.
They walked around the neighbourhood for a while, looking for houses that were decorated. As they turned down an alleyway, a guy wearing a Jason mask jumped out.
"Boo!" Liam jumped and let out a scream, which surprised Theo since Liam should've been able sense him.
The boy ran away laughing, Theo looked down noticing that Liam had grabbed his hand and is still holding his hand now.
Theo smiled, "you okay?" "I think so," Liam replied then realising that he was still holding Theo's hand.
"Sorry," he muttered and ripped his hand out and looked away. Theo smiled even wider, leaning forwards he grabbed Liam's hand again surprising Liam. Liam looked up mouth hanging open, "never said I didn't want to hold your hand Little Wolf." Theo shrugged like it was nothing.
Liam went red for the third time today and smiled to himself, "so I guess we're not gonna split up then?"
"Never," Theo leaned over and kissed him. It was short and sweet, everything Liam had been wanting.
At this moment, it was just him and Theo, and nothing else matters.
