Halloween

Regina's Pov
I was getting ready for the Halloween party at school, I had my costume ready, I chose the one from the evil queen, I thought it was right for the situation, for the constant voice that goes about me. I was very excited at the idea of spending my evening with Emma, between music, dances and laughters, just, we had to be careful to don't let no one discover us, it was better that nobody knew of our relationship, not at that moment, it could have compromised the graduation of Emma, and it wasn't according to our plans.
I applied red lipstick, a darker makeup that made my eyes stand out and I looked at myself in the mirror, smiling, satisfied at the result.
'I'm curious what Emma will think' - I said to myself laughing a bit and took bag walking to doors.
After a few minutes I was out of school, looking around thinking how many things have happened during this year and went up the stairs coming to the gates. I took a deep breath and opened the doors of the school looking in the hall, where there was music, many people and ... the most important person, that I could recognize among millions of people, my Emma.
She looked in my direction, smiling and opening her mouth slightly, looking at me. The only thing I could do was stay still near the doors looking at her smiling. She had a large, princely white dress, adorned with feathers, her blonde hair in soft waves and a very light and bright make-up.
I assume she dressed to swan princess, however, she was beautiful.
She started walking in my direction, looking around, making sure no one was looking and stood in front of me, smiling nervously.
'God this woman' -I thought to myself
'Hi' -She said looking at my costume smiling
'Let me guess, Evil Queen mh?'
I laughed a bit and touched dress fixing it.
'I thought it was appropriate for the situation'
'You're beautiful' - she said connecting her look to mine. I could see the sincerity that showed through her eyes and I couldn't help but blush slightly.
She took my hand gently and began to walk through the crowd to the dance floor.
She made me rotate slowly until she stopped me in front of her and put her hands on my hips while a slow and sweet music started to play. I wrapped my arms around her neck and our eyes collided as we moved together in time with this slow and comfortable music.
'You look so stunning' -I whispered looking in her eyes.
Even among the dim lights of the room I could see a hint of redness in her cheeks to my comment on her appearance, moreover it was the pure truth, I found her beautiful.
Even if we were in the middle of a dance floor, between a myriad of people we seemed to be alone.
'What do you think of coming to my house, maybe we could spend some more time together' -I almost whispered continuing to look into Emma's eyes, almost as if I had lost myself in those beautiful green eyes.
'Of course, it would be perfect' - She replied smiling broadly, making my eyes move to another source of light that was warming my heart at an impressive speed.
Emma touched my cheek gently almost as if she heard the noise of my thoughts. I closed my eyes at contact and I smiled feeling the warmth of her palm of the hand against my cold cheek.
That calm music changed into something more eventful so the people around us began to dance riotously.
Emma continued to hold my hand and slowly put her fingers between mine.
'Let's go home?'
I moved my head for yes and started walking to take my bag that Emma had gently placed on her chair.
I looked at her in a silent request to leave the school and she walked out holding my hand and driving me.
Outside that school there was complete silence, except for the faint noise of school music that played the background in our breaths. Emma looked at me as if she wanted to tell me something but she took my face in her hand and she kissed me, rubbing my cheek softly.
Suddenly we heard a voice in the distance.
Emma..? - It was Ruby, staring at us. I moved slightly away from Emma, but she continued to hold my hand.
Ruby walked in our direction and looked at our hands together.
'You ... are together?' -She looked at us confused.
Emma looked at me and squeezed my hand lightly.
'Yes' - Emma answered firmly.
Ruby kept staring at us without saying anything, and Emma touched her arm softly.
'Please, don't say anything to anyone' -Emma looked at Ruby.
Ruby moved her head to say yes and smiled at us.
'I mean ... You and Miss Mills' -Ruby laughed a bit.
'Well yes' -Emma laughed a bit and stroked my hand.
I looked at Emma and slowly put head to her shoulder.
'Go, before someone else see you' -Ruby whispered and looked around.
Emma hold my hand and she pulled me gently to her walking.
I looked at Emma a bit when we walked, she seemed happy and relaxed, few times I had the chance to see her in this way.
We arrived in front of my house, I took the keys from the bag and silently opened the door, making space for Emma to enter.
I closed the doors gently and I felt Emma's hands on my hips, she turned me to herself, placing my bag on the table.
She kissed me and smiled, wrapping her arms around my hips.
The kiss slowly ended and I opened my eyes looking at Emma.
'Let's go' - I took her hand and led her upstairs.
'So, what movie will we see?' -I opened doors of bedroom and took computer from desk.
'What you think of an horror?' -Emma throw herself on bed
I laughed a bit at her and slowly sat on bed.
'Oh God okay, let's try' - I lay down next to Emma turning film.
Emma hugged me, holding me to her, making me feel so protected and loved. I wrapped my arms around her watching the movie carefully.
A loud thunder was heard in the room, I jumped and hugged Emma more.
Emma realized that I was scared and pulled me to herself rubbing my back with small calming circles.
I put my face in Emma's neck to not see the scene in the film and I was scared.
'Hey, it's just a movie, don't be scared' -Emma whispered kissing my head.
I moved my head for yes and I kept shaking.
'Okay you will not see this movie' -Emma said and closed the computer hugging me tightly.
'I'm sorry' -I whispered shacking.
'Don't be' -Emma answered and kissed my forehead.
Slowly I closed my eyes cradled by Emma's arms and relaxed at the sound of her heart beating. Suddenly I heard a noise coming from downstairs, I opened my eyes suddenly and looked around.
'What's wrong?' "Emma asked me, looking at me worried
'I heard a noise downstairs' - I was scared and I kept looking around trying to see something in the dark room.
'It's just the wind' -Emma tried to reassure me.
'Maybe' - I sat in the middle of the bed looking around me.
Slowly I pressed my head on Emma's chest, closing my eyes to relax.
I could hear Emma take deep breaths, she fell asleep.
I tried to close my eyes again, hoping that the noise I had heard stopped. After a few minutes I heard the same noise. I opened my eyes and slowly got up from the bed to not wake Emma up. I walked down the dark corridor that led to the stairs and went downstairs, keeping hands on the railing for support in the darkness. I tried to turn on the light, but the strong storm caused a blackout. I snorted and put my hands in front of myself, walking slowly toward the kitchen. I didn't heard any noise, complete silence, only the sound of rain and some thunders. I took a deep breath and opened the fridge taking a bottle of water. Behind me he felt a breath of icy air and I saw a shadow against it.

'Gina?' "Emma touched my arm gently in the dark.
'Are you okay?'
'Yes, Yes, I thought I saw something' -Slowly I started to breathe normally and a thunder shined in the room showing me there was nobody except me and Emma.
'Go upstairs, I'll clean' -Emma held my arm and went closer to me.
'No, don't worry, I'll do it' -I replied taking a deep breath looking at my feet seeing the broken glasses.
'Hey, you're stressed, I don't want to cut yourself. I'll be right back right okay? "
I moved head for yes and started walking upstairs, leaning against the wall, going on the stairs.
I sat on the bed, putting my back on the bed frame waiting for Emma.
Emma come in bedroom after a few minutes and lay down and hugged me.
'Better?' "Emma looked at me and kissed my cheek gently.
'Yes, now I'm fine' - I replied hugging her more.
Emma rubbed my back softly.
I took Emma's hand and played with her fingers. I   put our hands together, uniting them and looking at them. Nothing could stop the smile that formed on my face. I felt so protected with Emma, loved, wanted.
My eyes began to close, I was tired, but I tried to stay awake.
'Sleep' - She whispered playing with my hair.
I relaxed in her arms, I closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep hugging Emma.
