"Holy fuck, I'm so nervous." I thought to myself as I stepped into the highschool building For the first time.
I have a pepfest before school even starts to "welcome" us sophomores to the building, great. Everybody hates going to these why do they do them anyways?
As I walked into the gymnasium where the pepfest was held, I spotted where my friends were sitting right away and rushed over to them.
"Hey Sam! How was your summer?" My friend Isabelle asked.
"Eh, I got off the couch a few times. Other than that, it was pretty boring." I said.
"Wow? Don't you like to go biking or walking around the city?" My other friend Cate chimed in.
"I mean I don't really do much. I enjoy sitting on tumblr and stalking hot men on there." I said in an excited manner.
Just then, our conversation was interrupted by our principal.
"WELCOMEEEE NEW STUDENTSS TOOO MICAHH HIGHSCHOOLL!!!" He shouted over the loud speaker.
Why on earth does he have to be so loud? I've literally been sitting in the quiet and darkness of my room all summer, I feel like a vampire.
"CAN WE ALL GIVE A WARM WELCOME TO OUR AMAZING AND HARD WORKING STAFF MEMBERS??" he announced, interrupting my trait of thought.
I decided to ignore him the rest of pepfest and just zone out and go on tumblr.
Okay, schedule time! Let's see what classes I have...
Hour 1: French 2- Madame Ochs
Hour 2: Honors English 10-Mrs.Johnson
Hour 3: U.S. History-Mr.Blake
Hour 4: Honors Biology-Ms.Benson
A Lunch
Hour 5: Psychology-Mr.Kluder
Hour 6: Orchestra- Mr.Alquist
Wow, what a full schedule. The building is so confusing and big, it's nothing like middle school.
As the day went on I got to My honors biology class. "Biology is my strong subject so I think I'll do fine." I thought to myself.
"Hello class! My name is Ms.Benson, and this is honors biology! What that means is were going to go at a much faster pace than boring old regular biology." She said to the class.
That kinda scared me a little, fast pace?
"Today were going to take a nice little pretest to see where you are all at, and what we need to work on." She said, and then started to hand out these really huge packets. It was about 50 pages front to back.
I then got a feeling of panick when I read the questions..
"Shit...I don't know any of this.." I whispered to the person next to me.
I decided to not do the pretest so I didn't look like and idiot.
After school was over I immediately ran to the office to change into regular biology.
"Hi, yes I need to be switched into regular biology, I think there was a mistake on my schedule because I registered for regular biology." I said in a quiet tone,
Because I was lying right through my teeth.
"Sure, no problem! You still have hour 4 biology, except it will be with Mr.Snrub next door! He is a fantastic teacher and I think you'll love him!"
Yes, now I don't have to look dumb.
