I get it, okay? Ghosts are scary. They're dead people who have stuck around to haunt the living, and that freaks people out. Believe me, I know it better than anyone, me being a ghost myself.

My name is Morty Williams, and I was the last owner of Ludvig Castle, a beautiful, but dreadfully rundown, castle on the outskirts of town. I had taken it upon myself to fix it up, but one thing led the next, and bada big, bada boom: I fell of the roof. Instant ghost.

It didn't take long for me to gain recognition as the "Ghost of Ludvig Castle." And with that instant celebrity came an alarming number of horrifying stories emanating from visitors to my humble home.

After a few years of these terrifying tales, investigators and reporters came to the castle in droves to have a ghostly experience with yours truly.

I did my best to be welcoming: opening doors to locked rooms, providing encouraging noises to guide the guests to the most interesting portions of the castle, and even brushing bugs and dust off of the visitors' clothing. And what did I get for my hospitality?

Bad press!

Articles and books in the hundreds about the "dreadful ghost of Ludvig Castle." To be honest, I'm incredibly insulted.

Over the years, due to my skills as a host, hundreds of squatters (I detest the word) have stopped by to stay in the castle. Unlike the other visitors, these wonderful people have given me rave reviews. Over the past few months, these kind souls have agreed to work on a little project for me.

Out of the numerous articles and books published about my afterlife in the castle, there is only one book that has painted my role in the castle in a positive light. This book, this piece of art, is the only thing that has kept me from turning into one of those typical, grumpy ghosts.

So, what's the project? I want that book to be the last one in the library. Because of the unfortunate circumstances of my death, I cannot leave the castle grounds. My dear homeless friends have agreed to break into the town's small public library tonight, and steal all of the books except for my favorite!

My thought behind the project is that when the public discovers which book has been left in the library, they will finally understand the message that I have been trying to get across to them. I am a good ghost!

I can't wait for all of the good press that is going to come from my little surprise. I can imagine the headlines now: "Ghost at Ludvig Castle Not So Dreadful After All!"

Like I said before, I get it, ghosts are scary. But remember, even the good guys fall off of roofs every once in a while.
