Cheryl's Pov
I wake up at 6am dreading to go to school today because those slimy serpents were coming to riverdale high after southside high shutdown because of this drug "Jingle-Jangle" was being made in the basement, as i walk down the stairs i see my mother sitting at the dining table drinking some tea. Ive always hated my mother ever since my dear brother J.J died. I make me some breakfast then head out the door to my car and drive to school.
When i arrive i walk in and see an unfamiliar girl standing by the lockers, then I realize she was a serpent but if I'm gonna be honest she was kinda hot. I make my way to first period and sit down in the back where i always do, sadly nobody sat beside me because they were all scared of me but I didn't care. As the bell rang the short serpent walked into the door, my teacher let her introduce herself to the class.
"Um hi my name is Toni Topaz I'm a southside serpent I'm 17 and yeah"
She didn't have a seat yet so my teacher told her to sit next to me. I'll admit i was kinda nervous for her to sit next to me, she started walking towards me I couldn't help but stare at her the whole way. The way her pink hair flowed down her shoulders her eyes and that damn smirk.
"Your drooling blossom" she said as she sat next to me.
"Whatever" i said rolling my eyes.
"So whats this class again" she asked furrowing her eyebrows.
"Science you bimbo" i said taking out my notebook
"Bimbo i like it" she said pulling out a piece of scrap paper
"I have an extra notebook if ya need it" i said holding it up in the air
"Ummm thanks" she said taking the notebook.
Class ended and before i got up Toni slipped me a piece of paper folded up. I opened it and it was her phone number, before i could say anything she was gone into the crowded hallway.
School was over so I decided to go to pops for a milkshake but I didn't wanna go alone so i texted Toni to see if she would go with me.

As i put my phone in my back pocket i was kinda happy that she said yes considering we barely knew each other, but she just made me feel safe and protected.
I arrive at pops and sit in a booth in the back With my friend Veronica she works here now so she was sitting with me until Toni got here. Me and Veronica were in a deep conversation about clothes when we heard the bell ring, we both turned around to see Toni standing there with her younger sister. Her sister was tall and skinny she had light brown hair in a ponytail and bangs that went halfway down her face and were parted in the middle.
"Who knew the Topaz family was so attractive" Veronica whispered to me.
"Toni's mine" i whispered yelled to her
"Not her the other one" Veronica said as she smirked at me.
"May we join" asked Toni
"Um yeah sure" i said as Toni sat next to me.
"Oh yeah this is my sister Layla" Toni said
"Hi" Layla said, I looked at Veronica and she had total heart eyes. But she was dating Archie at the time.
"Im Veronica" She said shaking Layla's hand and Tonis.
"Nice to meet you Veronica" Layla said
"They should just go out already" Toni whispered to me.
"I know" i said as we looked at the two staring at each other.
"So what could i get you guys" Veronica asked clearing her throat.
"Ill have a vanilla milkshake" Layla said
"A cherry cola with curly fries" i said
"Chocolate milkshake and a burger" Toni said nodding to Veronica.
When Veronica walked away me and Toni looked at Layla who was watching Veronica walk away. When she turned to look at us her cheeks turned red.
"Shut up" she said looking at us.
After Veronica got our food she sat with us and talked, we sat there for at least three hours that night and it was one of the best nights of my life.
