Damon's Pov

Victoria is still shouting in pain as the sun burns her skin. I stand in the living room, with no emotion on my face, watching her.

Stefan leaves the curtain's open for a few seconds longer then closes them. Gasping in relief Victoria's wounds start to heal.

"You're gonna thank me for this. After you turn it back on, you'll realize life with no emotions blew." I looked at Victoria, whose hand was twitching.

"You know what else blew? Being in love with you... going every day believing that I was in love with you. I remember every horrible moment of it, and you, so scared that it wasn't real. Well, guess what-- it wasn't. You were right. So go ahead, keep trying to get the old me back. Who knows? Maybe Stefan and I will give it a go." Victoria smirked at me and shrugged her shoulders.

I stand there looking at Victoria and take in her words, brushing off her cruelty with an indulgent some sort of a hurt expression.

Suddenly Victoria breaks the bonds on her wrist and vamp-runs over to the window pulling the curtains off the rod, exposing the huge window.

Immediately she burst into flames and starts screaming, grabbing the fire extinguisher in panic I put her out, while Stefan frantically pats her down.

Victoria lies on the floor coughing and laughing as her skin starts to heal.

"I am the girl that you love. You wouldn't do anything to actually hurt me-- you just proved that. So what do I really have to be afraid of?" Victoria smiled at me.

I share a quick look with Stefan before grabbing Victoria's arm roughly and drag her down into the basement and lock her back into the safe.

I walk out into the front law, taking a large swing of Bourbon, trying to clam my nerves.

"So, that went well." Stefan mumbled making me growl in anger.

"Every other vampire turns it on, no problem. You kill, you feed, you do all the awful things that a vampire does, and then when you're done you turn it back on. Why is she being so stubborn?" I growled throwing the glass in my hand at the front of the house angrily.

"Because she has nothing to come back to. Her family's gone, she alienated her friends, she destroyed her relationships—" Stefan started to speak but I cut him off.

"No, she wants to come back. Scaring the hell out of her should've worked. She's smart. She knows we're not going to hurt her." I signed in anger.

"All right, so we get somebody else. Somebody who really will hurt her." Stefan looks at me, which makes me frown, who did he mean?

"Who?" Stefan moves his head back tacitly hinting of who he is thinking of.

"Elena?" I guess.

"Think about it: she's one of the many reason why Victoria does not want to come back, right? So if anybody's gonna provoke an emotion, it's her."

"So we call her and then what, beg her to help us? You do realize Elena and Victoria are sisters." I looked at Stefan, who was coming up with the most stupidest ideas, yet.

"Elena has nothing, she has pretty much no one left. She wants to help bring Victoria back and to ask for her help, there is no way she's going to turn that down."

Elena's Pov

"You know what to do right?" Damon asked as he threw me a black leather jacket.

"Yeah, meaning by that, to be cruel, mean and hurt my sister in the worst way possible. I've got it" Damon smiled at me tightly "Good, lets go" he patted my shoulder and walked out of my house.
