Jim was outside the Benbow Inn, sitting on the top of the roof, throwing pebbles. One pebble landed on your head. It was quite big, so it caused you to groan in pain. "Ouch!" You exclaimed, as you massaged your head for the pain to go away.
Like a flash, Jim was beside you.
"Are you okay? I'm so sorry!" He said, as he put his hand on your head.
"I.... I'm fine! Y.. you're Jim, right?" You muttered.
He nodded.
"And, you are?"
"(Y/N)"
"Huh... You look... ... familiar..." His eyes widened as he looked at you.
"(N/N)!?" He yelled.
"H...Have we.... Have we met?" You said, confused. "How do you know my Nick name!?"
"We were in the same class at the 5-6th grade! You were the smartest girl in our class! You beat me in the solar surfing contest! Man, I was very disappointed at myself that day..."
Your memories with Jim flashed as soon as he mentioned the solar surfing contest. He was your number one childhood friend.
"Jimmy??" You giggled. (You used to call him Jimmy [He didn't like the nick name "Jimmy"])
"Please refrain from calling me that." Jim said, as he laughed. You laughed along.
"Remember that time when you got mad at me because I stole that book you really loved?" He asked while smirking.
"Y... Yeah, kind of! Oh, and, remember that time when you picked a fight with the class bully?"
"Yeah, you mean Zam?"You nodded as you smiled.
"How about that time when I tripped because of you and fell in the pond full with fishes?" You asked.
Jim laughed as you repeated the same action as you tripped and fell on the pond about 5 years ago. (But of course, this time without the pond)
"What about that time when I showed you my favorite story book?" He asked.
"Mmmm, you mean... ...Treasure Planet?"
"Yeah... I still think that I was very stupid for believing in that myth..." He exclaimed.
"But what If it isn't a myth?" You added.
He looked away with a smirk in his face.
