Epilogue

Arjun was working in his office when he got a call from his wife. He glanced at his watch and knew he was in trouble. He picked up the phone but before he could say anything, Pakhi's angry voice came from the other side "Arjun when will your one hour be over? You have been telling me since afternoon that you will reach in one hour but you are still in office" Arjun gulped hearing her angry voice.  She can be scary if mad he thought shivering.

It was annual day in their children's school and he had promised his kids that he will be there to watch their program but due to urgent office issue, he was late. Now Pakhi would go thermonuclear on him. She had specifically told him two days ago to keep his schedule free for today evening but he forgot.

He gave a nervous smile "I am on my way darling" She screamed from the other side "No need to come now. Kids program is already finished and we have reached back home. You continue with your work" Then without giving him a chance to speak, she disconnected the call.

Arjun knew he was in big trouble today. Pakhi, Rahil and Ahana all will be disappointed with him. He couldn't give much time to his family due to his large business empire. It was Pakhi who attended every parents teacher meet or any other function of their children's school. She knows that he is busy businessman and so she often takes the kids to shopping, watching movies and picnic by her own. He just joins them occasionally.

There are few occasions when his family require his presence and he sometimes fails to fulfill their wish even for that. Today is one such day again. He asked his secretary to look and complete his pending work while he went towards his home. On the way, Arjun thought to buy some gifts for them to cool them down.

He entered his Mansion and saw all three in the living room. He bought this sea facing mansion for Pakhi on their last marriage anniversary and since then they are living here. He silently entered and then sequeled "Hello my beautiful people. I am home" All three gave a disinterest look to him. Kids continued watching TV whereas Pakhi continued reading fashion magazine she was reading earlier. He sighed and went to sit near the kids.

He first called them but they didn't give a hoot to him. Irritatingly he switched off the television. Rahil who is now thirteen years old turned towards him "Why you switched off the television pa?" Arjun shrugged his shoulder "Because you two were not listening to me. I wanted to talk with you" Rahil rolled his eyes "If you were planning to say sorry to us then don't pa. We know you were busy with your work and all" Arjun sighed "I know son there is no excuse but I kept my schedule free for this evening. When I was leaving office after lunch, an emergency problem came and I had no choice but to deal with it. Believe me kids I tried. Sorry I will try not to repeat this mistake again ok"

Rahil smiled and nodded his head. He was a easy going person but only for his family. He said "It's ok pa. I know work comes first. Try to come next time ok! By the way I won first price in debate" Arjun proudly congratulated him "Congratulations son I am so proud of you. Keep it up" He then looked at his eight year old daughter Ahana. She was a mini  version of Pakhi not only in looks but also in nature. She can be cool but when triggered her wrath can burn any one. His wife and kids were his life. He loved everyone so much but Ahana was his favorite. She was Arjun's breath. He shifted near her "My son forgave me but what about my daughter. Won't she forgive her father?" Ahana shook her head in no. Arjun pouted "Ok then what about the gift I bought for you sweetie. You are not talking to pa so I guess you will not take my gift also. Rahil you can alone take all the gifts now"

She quickly peeked at the pile of gifts Arjun bought. Her temptation to get those gifts increased and she asked Rahil "Bhaiyu will you share your gifts with me?" Rahil looked at Arjun and he winked at him. He understood what his father was trying to do so he acted along. He pretended to think "No all these gifts are mine alone. If you don't want to talk to Pa then why take his gifts?"

She thought for a while. She was angry on her father for missing her dancing competition but then she wanted gifts more than not talking to him. She moved into Arjun's lap "Pa will you give me gifts too if I talk with you?" Arjun grinned and nodded his head. She at once kept her hands around his neck and hugged him "Ok then I forgive you too pa. You know I came first in dancing. Mum took videos of me and Bhaiyu to show you" Arjun embraced her tight and kissed her forhead "Very good my princess. If you want pa will put you in a very good dancing academy?" She sequeled "Really pa can I go there and learn different dances?" Arjun nodded his head "Yes angel but not now. You can join the classes in your vacations ok?" She nodded at him. He asked Rahil also to come and sit close to him and then said "I am so proud of both of you kids. Now tell pa that will you two want to go and spend this weekend with me and your mum on our yatch?"

Both the kids looked at Pakhi "Can we mum?" Rahil asked her. Ahana hopped from Arjun's lap and went towards her "Please mum let's all of us go there. We will have lots of fun!" She laughed and nodded her head "Ok we will go this weekend. Now it's late you two go to your rooms and sleep. Tomorrow you both are having PT training in your school"

Both the kids greeted their parents goodnight and went to their rooms. Pakhi got up and went towards their bedroom. Arjun huffed "Two done, one more to go" He followed Pakhi to their room. She was combing her hair after changing her clothes when he hugged her from behind "Still angry wifey?"

She glared at him from the mirror and removed his hands from her stomach and went to sleep. He sighed and went into the washroom to shower. He first needs to cool off to pacify her. After changing in his track and t-shirt, he went to sleep. She was sleeping with her back towards him. He huffed and pulled her towards his chest and engulfed her in his arms "Baby look at me please. I said I am sorry that's why I cancelled my Saturday meeting and taking you all for a fun weekend"

She got up and sat on the bed "How many times Arjun I reminded you of this annual day? Still you didn't come. You should have seen their faces. They were so upset when you didn't turn up. I try most of the times to fulfill their every requirements but they too need you along with me" Arjun sighed and sat upright "I know Pakhi that's why I am planning to hire an executive officer who will be looking to important matters in my absence. As soon as I find the perfect candidate, it will spend more time with you all ok" She just nodded her head at him.

He flipped her on the bed and howered above her "Come on love smile now. Even kids forgave me but not you. You are so stone hearted wifey" he said pouting. She chuckled at him and pecked his lips "Ok I am forgiving you for today but try not to repeat it again or else I won't hesistate to kick your ass honey"

Arjun grinned at her "It's a mighty fine ass darling. You will enjoy kicking it" Pakhi turned red hearing him. She silently scolded him "Behave Arjun. You are father of two kids now. It's been eleven years since we are married but you are still the same"

Arjun kissed her on her cheek "What to do darling when you have a beautiful wife as mine you never get tired of romance" Pakhi giggled hearing him. He started kissing her and soon both were lost in each other. After their lovemaking, they both were awake in their bed cuddling each other. Pakhi was caressing his chest and had kept her head on his shoulder whereas Arjun was rubbing her bare back. She said "It's been so many years since our life changed for good. Time flies so fast. I just think we got married and Rahil was small but see now. It's been eleven years and our doll is also eight years old now. Both the kids are growing so fast" Arjun replied "Yes darling time flies so fast. But the thing that won't change is that I love you. You and our children are my life" She kissed his chest "I love you too baby. You and our kids complete me. You know why I never fell in love with any one else?" Arjun shook his head indicating no. She said cheekily "Because you are my only love. Had been and will always be" Arjun chuckled hearing her words "You too are my only love sweetie"
They both slept hugging each other with a smile on their faces. Indeed they both were meant to be together and their kids were their Ray of happiness in their blissful life.
