Betty's POV:
My day started off pretty average. I got out of bed, put my leg on, and got changed. I brushed my teeth and then I ate breakfast, pancakes.
My mom handed me lunch money and my bag and then I met my cousin Cheryl to walk to school.
Cheryl, my sister Polly, my mom, and my dad are the only people that know about my secret. Juniper and Dagwood, my niece and nephew kinda know but they are only 2.
Cheryl and I got to school and walked to first lesson, English.
After I sat down, a boy I'd never met before walked into the room.
"Hello, you must be Forsythe!" Said mr Broomfield cheerily.
"It's jughead" the boy replied with slight annoyance.
"Wow he's gorgeous!" Cheryl leaned over the desk and whispered to me.
"I know right! Fitttt!!" I said, a little too loud.
'Jughead' or whatever his name is smirked at me, making me go red with embarrassment. And then he went and sat down. RIGHT NEXT TO ME!
Cheryl winked at me and whispered "go for it!"
I rolled my eyes and carried on looking down at the desk, avoiding eye contact with 'Jughead' or whatever his name is.
"Hey" said a voice, making me jump. It was Jughead.
"Ummm. Hi" I said
"I'm Jughead"
"I'm Betty"
"Cute name"
"And you, if a little unusual"
"Well, nice to meet you, Betty"
"And you, Jughead"
At this point I was so nervous I thought I might actually pass out. Cheryl seemed pleased with me. At the end of english she walked over to me "chatting up new boy I see! Good on you Betty!" I smiled and we walked to Maths.
